I hope J can get the tape to play soon, if at all, because I hope it explains a little bit of who the heck Jessica is. I mean, they seem to have forgotten all about Amy and Sarah, who are also missing, yet Jessica, well, we don't even know how she got involved in all of this in the first place, except that she and J were stuck in adjoining rooms and then she got taken! Then, during the missing 7 months, she is obviously important enough for Alex to mention that she needs to see what's in Rosswood too. But if she was only a neighbor to Amy, and not even a member of the original cast, how is she involved? They need to explain how J and Jess met, and why she is involved, because it really confuses me!

I don't really need a recap of the latter part of the series, I just need to know how she and J got together in the first place. Why she's still important over other girls that are missing. Like, I get that they have to have met during the seven months J doesn't remember, but I guess what you're saying is that Jay and Alex and Amy and Jessica were all hanging out together, being happy and normal, and that they got together as bf and gf during that time? It doesn't seem right. But I guess that's what happened?? *shrugs*

Jay first heard about Jessica in #43, when Alex called her to ask if she'd seen Amy. Then when Alex and Jay had a falling out in #47, Jay got her number from Alex because she was the only lead he had at that point. The phone call he makes in that entry is the first time they ever talked. Jay calls her again in #50 to tell her that he's going in the woods with Alex, thus implying that he'd been keeping in contact with her. The best theory anyone has for why Alex didn't kill Jay in #50 is because Jay was vague about how involved she really was and Alex assumed that he'd need to kill both of them, thus why he asked for her to be there in #52.

The real question is why she decided to trust someone she'd never met and follow him into the woods under flimsy pretenses with no apparent means of self-defence. Maybe she's secretly a black belt and figured she could take two college-age guys bare-handed if they tried anything. Rolling Eyes

Back on topic though, the evidence makes Jay think that it's his fault she's "disappeared" since he probably was the person who got her involved in the first place. He's not as concerned about Amy because her disappearance is seemingly Alex's fault (plus he knows even less about her so it would be kind of pointless to constantly bring her up). He has no more reason to be concerned with Sarah then he does to be concerned with Seth or Brian -- for the time being, his only lead in regards to what happened to the original MH cast is the only remaining cast member that he's managed to find: Tim. That's why I don't understand why some people are getting all up in arms that MH has a lot of Tim focus. He's a hell of a lot more relevant to the original plot than Jessica anyway. >_>

First time poster here, I don't know if anyone here noticed but back in entry (what 60?) where Jay goes into the maintenance tunnel, when he first goes in he claims to find the room where the fire started. This is the same room Tim shows Jay in Entry 66.

Yep! We discussed that previously in the thread, and some of us are hoping for that to be revealed, i.e., that Tim was somehow involved with the fire itself.

Maybe when Tim was little TO came into his room one night and Tim panicked and tried to kill him by throwing fire at him, unwittingly setting the whole hospital ablaze. The only problem with that hypothesis is that I have no idea where he would have been able to find something with the capability of burning the whole hospital. I'm guessing a few matches wouldn't do it... unless he was able to get his hands on some gasoline. I don't know how he would have been able to sneak stuff that dangerous into his room in a hospital where he was monitored 24/7 though. Unless TO gave it to him himself for some unknown reason.
