I know Tim has an ABYSMAL record when it comes to surprise attacks, but he had Jay on his side.

First time he got his leg busted up.
Second time he and hoody ambushed alex in the woods(?). But they got scared off.
Third time he saved Jay and Jessica, I wouldn't call that a terrible track record.

But yeah wtf why didn't they just beat the shit out of hoodie in the room. Could of been a chance to prove if hoodie can just portal out of places (i.e. room) when he wants too.

This speculation's gonna come eventually, so let's jump start it.

Obviously Hoody left the tape there for someone/something/some reason, but who/what/why?

anyone else think hoody seemed like he was in a fugue state?

I feel like Hoody knew what he was doing. He went in there, knowing Tim and Jay were in there. He knew they would follow him. He put the tape down in that room, and then he left, confident that the whole time they wouldn't attack him.

He's that good.

I understand that a lot of work goes into making entries, and that Troy and co. work hard to make it enjoyable. Even though I liked the entry itself, I can't believe that we had to wait 2 months for this. There was no editing needed by Troy because there was no slendistortion, and on top of that, they didn't even show the tape in this entry. It was pretty much just one reveal of Tim's past. Not to say I'm not thankful, it's just that I think they could have incorporated a little bit more. Also (This isn't OOG) I'm pretty infuriated by the fact that when Hoody was crouching down, Tim or Jay didn't even try to do anything. For gosh's sake, Tim had a freaking wrench! He was protected anyway!

And that's my rant on Entry 66. Time to wait 1 more month if we're lucky. Very Happy

I'm hoping that the next entry will come soon. If it does, then that might be the point of the wait, because this entry didn't look like it took that long to make, other than the weather issues. Not that I'm complaining, though; I'm just always happy to see a new entry.

Exactly. That's what I'm secretly hoping as well.

Yeah, I'm really wondering how long it's going to be until the next entry, just because we had to wait so long for this one. I think we can all agree that it has to be WAY sooner than 2 months, just for the fact that Jay has a tape in his possession right now.

It'd be really cool if they already had it ready, but that never seems to be the case. I'm just hoping it comes out within 2 weeks.

I'm wondering if Hoody didn't actually leave that for them. I don't have any other reason why he would've left it there but it'd be kind of interesting.

So, this seems to be a situation we've had in all three seasons so far:

J ends up finding a tape, a singular tape, and the audience waits patiently for that tape's contents to be uploaded as an Entry.

Season 1: J went back to the red tower, found a tape there.

Season 2: J stole a tape from Alex's place

Season 3: Hoody leaves a tape in the hospital, which J finds.

I actually hope we get a new TTA before the new entry, be it 2 weeks or not. Maybe TTA will entitle it "Stalkers." Laughing

Tim's monologue was awesome, the fact that Jay recovered another tape is awesome, the fact that they openly acknowleged the Operator as the root of their problems was awesome, Tim's mad hunter-tracker skills were awesome, so basically the entry was awesome.

How long is the usual gap between Jay posting himself finding the tape, and him posting the tape itself?

I agree with you, but keep in mind that they took a small break from MH to work on the Slender: the Arrival story. This entry didn't require much editing, since most of it was on single shot. No distortion or anything technical. I imagine that Trosephim have at least most of the next entry already prepared. This was just the slow set-up, I'm thinking.
