"I don't understand why they couldn't just film in the rain," say people who would be complaining that you can't make out the monologue over the rain, and the chattering of the actors' teeth (what with it being 40-50F, and wet).

So if Tim's official diagnosis is schizophrenia, then his meds are probably anti-psychotics, right?

A solid Entry. Great tension and consistently superb Timacting(patent pending). But it feels like they fall back on their own tropes to the point of self-parody. And not the good tropes, generally. I knew watching the video that Hoody would evade them and Tim would be mad. When Jay went to look in the room, I knew it would be a tape. It's just exasperating sometimes to see such a phenomenal series take such trudging steps forward, especially in the last half of the last season. I feel like every video from now on should have some sort o big revelation, and not these half-measures. Maybe I typically expect too much for a single video, but this series' quality is what gave me high expectations. Especially with long videos. Part of why MH was so great originally was the bite-sized nature of the videos. But videos now are almost always 10 minutes or longer and seldom as densely packed with scares or plot progression as the early videos were. This video could have easily been cut down to under half its size and been potentially more effective.

I love Marble Hornets so damn much, but by the end of this video I was rather underwhelmed.

Finally! Even though this was not earth-shattering, it's good to see that things are moving. First, why would Hoody leave a tape on the hospital? Did he know he wasn't alone? What's on the tape? We know that ToTheArk records video thingies and upload them for Jay (?) to see but until we see the contents of said video we cannot conjecture nothing. Alas, perhaps is something related to Tim's past since he is the only one with a connection to the building.

Let's hope the next entry doesn't take long.

I'm not sure why Tim thinks it could be all his fault. Unless he happened to meet Alex in his childhood - which he says in this episode is not the case - he couldn't be responsible for the distorted-as-heck "enttry #37", excerpted from home movies of Alex. (Well... it could be that the rest of the Operator's appearances are actual distortion whereas #37 is TTA screwing around in Vegas, but that seems unlikely.)

... The slowchase really should have been a bit faster paced. The goofy snooping segments add nothing...

Tim's acting is really good, but Jay's acting is not keeping pace. In his talky segments with Tim, he seems to be acting on a range from bored to peeved. It worked earlier in the season, but it doesn't really fit the situation now.

I notice how we've got a whole lot of big, wide pans of the field out behind the hospital, even a big gratuitous one at the end of the entry. How much y'want to bet we show up at that field again?

I think Hoody knew he was being or would be followed and that they wouldn't attack him.So he set the whole thing up and showed them the tape.

Wow Tim really is a great actor, all that in one take.
Hopefully we don't have to wait that long to see what's on that tape.

Uh... yeah, this kind of... sucked. Don't get me wrong, Tim telling the truth about his past was a very powerful moment. The suspense throughout the whole entry was some of the best in the entire series. I kept expecting to see either The Operator or Hoody until Hoody actually appeared. The whole thing with Tim revealing the truth and showing his guilt, brilliant.

But... oh dear, when Hoody showed up. Here it is, the moment I predicted. Hoody has made his appearance once again. Tim's got his dangerous looking metal object at the ready, just as expected. Even better than expected, they made it as suspenseful as they possibly could. Will we find out something about Hoody? Will Tim be able to catch up? Will we finally see who's behind the mask? Will - oh, he got away. Not to worry, he left behind a tape because we've never seen Tim and Jay chase Hoody through the hospital before only for him to get away but leave behind some evidence... except for when that exact thing happened in Entry #58. Seriously, the exact same routine they had already done before? Only this time, they make it as suspenseful as possible for absolutely no reason?

You know what's beautiful, the suspenseful pursuit of Hoody only for absolutely nothing to happen. Kind of like the wait for this entry.
