And I don't see how you can continue to call it filler when more people than just me have pointed out how it is not filler. Everything you say the entry doesn't do, it does do. Why are you so blind you can't see what's right in front of you?

 		Why can't you just let me have my own opinion about an entry instead of being the self-appointed White Knight of Trosephim? They're big boys, they can read and take criticism.

 		Guys, Guys, Guys.

Why does it matter? Really? Filler or not Filler, AT LEAST WE'RE GETTING ENTRIES. At least they didn't make us wait another 7 months like they have done before (granted, it was the gap between seasons or whatever, but still). Just watch the entries and be grateful for THAT much, because we COULD still be waiting for #66 and people moaning and groaning because we are missing it.

In the end, Filler may not advance the plot, but it's new content which is something we should always be happy to have.

Because based on all the evidence, your "criticism"is not criticism, not even in a constructive sense. Fine, I'll concede you that it's your opinion, but that is not the same as criticism. If you think it is, you need to go buy a dictionary.

Except that it's not filler. As we've been pointing out. It did advance the plot. Go watch it again. While watching, throw out all your preconceptions that you gathered from here or anywhere else you've been reading about MH. Once you strip away your preconceptions, you will see how it moves the plot forward and you will enjoy it that much more.

 		Criticism is the evaluation of one's work, I evaluated this work and determined that I believed it to be filler. If criticism did not involve preference and opinion to some degree, then everyone would either love or hate everything with no middle ground or in between. While the two terms are different, it's stupid to try to separate them entirely.

The only point at which the plot moves forward is the discovery of the new tape. The rest of it is just rehashed information we had already pieced together. It's 95% filler, 5% plot advancement. There's nothing wrong with that, but that's pretty much all it is.

Don't get me wrong. I agree with you. It's not Filler. I just want to end the arguments on whether it is or not, cause there's no point in arguing haha.

This leads us right back to the fact that based on the evidence, everything you claim that entry 66 didn't do, it did do. It advanced character development. It advanced the plot(more than just the stupid damn tape at the end.) Most likely they will end up going back to the hospital to look for those files Tim was so adamant about. Those are probably more important than the tape anyway. Your criticism is invalid because it has been proven to be false on more than one occasion and by more people than just me.

I never once said it was entirely filler; it isn't.

An entry doesn't have to be one or the other. This one happened to predominately be filler.

Tim's confession, the hunt for the other medical records, the shadowing of Hoody, the discovery of the tape, the chase through the woods. All of it plot advancement. Just because you can piece it together, doesn't make it automatically filler. It just means that you were clever enough to put the pieces together. Give yourself a pat on the back for that. So, no, it wasn't filler. You just think it is because you were a smart cookie and able to piece shit together.

 		So, if Entry #67 was just Jay sitting in front of a camera recapping the events of #66 - that wouldn't be filler?

Because all #66 did for most of the entry was recap known information, and throw in a (good) cliffhanger at the end.

We didn't find any extra medical records, we didn't get anything useful out of shadowing Hoody (the tape could have been found by chance, as has happened many times in the past), Tim's confession was already known, the chase through the woods really was pointless.

There wasn't a whole lot to this, other than the new tape.

Wasn't necesarry. If what he said wasn't a fact and it came from him, then it was obviously his opinion. Who else's would it be? We're all stating our opinions here for the most part, no point in labelling some but not others.

I've never tried to pass it off as fact. As Geneaux said, we're all pretty much stating opinions here. You can't quantify something as filler, or not filler. That is literally entirely determined by opinion. So I don't see how you can claim that your posts are factual either, as you like to try to do all the time.

At the same turn of the coin, if you're conceding that I'm allowed to have my opinion then I cannot possibly be "wrong" about anything.
