In the Slenderverse, I think abandoned buildings and forests are the coolest places to go with; People tend to use the interior of their houses a lot (for obvious reasons, it's understandable), so when a series has more of a travelling-outdoorsy-abandoned setting to certain videos, it's a lot more interesting. That's what I think, anyways.

I think on places like a boat or airplane, somewhere where you can't just simply run away from him. You're stuck with him, unless of course, you kill yourself. I thought it was awesome when TT used slendy on an airplane, and I think it would've been awesome if he would've done something like the movie "Snakes on a plane". This is way off topic now, but as I'm writing this post, I want a series where a bunch of people are stuck on a plane and slendy is lurking around on it, and people keep vanishing. Watch how many people hate on this post.

In public places. I want to see someone flip shit and cause mass paranoia.

Forests and abandoned places are always great because not only are they creepy, but because no one is there to wonder what you're doing. Of course, if you can pull off a slenderman appearance in public, that would be incredibly awesome.

Abandoned buildings don't really appear much in Slenderseries anymore (except for EMH). I think they would be good, but they're not very common. I like the house encounters more. Just thinking that this entity was in your house, where you're supposed to be safe, is a very scary thing to me.

My favorite encounters is the TulpaEffect's Entry #7 and DarkHarvest's "Greg's Final Log".

I lucked out; turned out there was

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
an abandoned mental hospital in a forest,

right on my doorstep.

Ultimately, though, the best location is the one you have. Sounds obvious but it's one of the sucky things about being a low-budget film-maker.

A still in use shool or bar might be cool. What if the bartender was a proxy or slenderman himself and only our protagonist can see him.

Or a military/police related appearance would be neat, or in a church after a service or a cemetery.

Personally though, a shool library, preferably not a highshool, late at night would be creepy as shit. Schools that are still used are fucking scary at night Smile

Schools that aren't used ever are pretty much always creepy, and there's more chance of being caught if you sneak into a still used school at night.

There is such a thing as asking for permission. It is not easy, but possible.

Also, to add more to the list, how about an abandoned warehouse or an industrial area or something like that?

I'm a big fan of scenes like that. I think Death Note has something to do with it! Either way, abandoned locations are a win for me. In my series, I actually had Slender Man stand on a bridge in the middle of Boston. Besides a tour bus stopping and taking pictures, it was easy to do. So, yeah. I'd love to see more Slender Man in public places. Make it candid, and you could get some awesome reactions!

I love it when he's chasing someone around an abandoned building, simply because in a forest there are too many escape routes. However, I think it would be truly scary to see an underwater appearance, where he's just stood there at the bottom of the water while you're drowning. To my knowledge, I don't think anyone's ever done that before.
