Monsters University http://monstersuniversity.com/edu/index.html I believe sign ups are next week judging by what the site says.
http://monstersuniversity.com/edu/mu_net.html I used the code #1152B minus the # then what the * area says that students passwords are there last name until they change it so I used the Ex.'s which is fungus so then I am prompted the contact an administrator. However when I did visversa it says M.U. Net ID Not Found.
Please Try Again

I feel like the application might turn into something later. The whole "Enrolling Next Semester" line gives me hope.

While this seems legitimately Disney and Monster's Inc, it probaby won't be an ARG as much as just Transmedia Social Networking. i.e. opportunity for Disney to spread the word, create something "interactive" for the target audience, and to sell swag (more publicity for the movie).
We can always dream/suggest/recommend they allow us to do stuff like create our own monster, enroll in MU, go to classes & earn grades, maybe even graduate our monster. Perhaps they will post some online games.
I'm sure it's going to be fun, and well done internet graphics/highly stylized websites, lots of flash. But I doubt there will be puzzles to solve and a story to discover along the journey (to me, that's an ARG).

Well my hope is still here the ID thing gives me some hope as to getting our rabbit hole found! Maybe we will get some IDs or whatnot also all of the effort that went into making the site with all of the full pages I think they SHOULD do a viral+ARG with it since the resources are there although I know they are two sperate departments remember Flynn Lives that WAS Disney maybe not Pixar but Disney's PR and Marketing team have made a great game once why not at least again?

I think there IS more to it...:
Quote:
http://monstersuniversity.com/edu/admission.html:
While we can't tell you how to get into MU, our admissions team has provided some advice throughout this site on how to put your best foot (or claw, hoof, or flipper) forward.
Quote:
http://monstersuniversity.com/edu/requirements.html - whole page - hints at more - just not ready...yet?

Thank you for visiting the Monsters University application information page. Applications for next fall are not being accepted yet, but there is much you can learn about the offerings and community at MU.
Especially if you have a few eyes to spare.
This last bit, with my emphasis, seems to hint at loking for stuff as well - esp as the logo has the 'eye' in it... dunno - but think there's more...
edit - more:
http://monstersuniversity.com/edu/alumni.html - Alumni do not yet have access to M.U.Net, but will soon have the option to generate their own username and password.
second edit: ooh...
http://monstersuniversity.com/edu/mu_net.html - use surname as password - what's the betting that one of the students haven't changed their password - now, to find their ID possibly?

Where did you find the #1152B?

I just noticed while idly browsing through page sources that at the M.U.net website the button actually doesn't do anything:
Quote:
input type="submit" id="loginBtn" value="" class="submitbtn" onclick="return false;"
(bolded for important parts)
Is it possible to spoof something like that? I'm bad with webpages.
Edit:
Downloading the webpage and changing it to "return true;" redirected me to the 404 page. Furthermore the actual login javascript file does nothing, it displays 'M.U. Net ID Not Found. Please Try Again' for the first three login attempts and then 'Please Contact Administrator' for every attempt after.
That's what I could make of it anyway.
