[VIDEOGAME] Haunt: The "Real" Slender Game
v1.1

Wow. This is extremely well made. Whereas Slender had no backstory, this has all kinds of history, in the form of reports, and photos.

Well, Slender: The Arrival, the full version of Slender is going to have a story. Written by the Marble Hornets guys, no less. The moving Slender Man is a nice touch, though. And the environment is cool as well. The rain adds to the atmosphere. This is cool, but I'm not interested unless it has a Mac release, which Slender and Slender: The Arrival was courteous enough to provide

It has that. Smile

I think they have PC, Mac, and maybe even Linux versions.

Sadly, none of the Mac download links work.

I clicked on the others as well. It seems all, not just the Mac, the downloads have been taken down.

I played the game, and I have to say I'm impressed.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The implication that Slender Man is an escaped experiment is awesome, especially when you find the TV showing Frankenstein.
There are some spelling errors here and there which didn't sit too well with me. The original website has awful spelling and grammar, but I don't think the creator is a native speaker, so it's excusable as long as the final version doesn't have them.

Haunt - The Real Slender Game
A new slenderman game thats free

I didn't see anyone post about this - so here it is.

I just discovered this new game called "Haunt: The Real Slender Game"
It's not even by the guy who did Slender, it's this new company with three guys who developed it on their spare time.

It's free btw
http://haunt-the-real-slender-game.en.softonic.com/

I downloaded it and played it on my mac (available on pc also - obviously)

Besides the fact that these guys called the game, the real slender game, which is kinda awkward since they weren't the first developers... the game is actually good. They said they called it that because it's a more polished version of slender. The graphics are simply amazing... compared to slender, these guys did a damn good job. The lighting effects are really good. The map is HUGE and I've been lost on more then one occasion. There are a lot of collectables and somewhat of a story within it as you pick up notes and pictures. There are keys to unlock certain areas which gives it more immersion.

The only downfall, it is much slower then the Slender - meaning: It takes a while for things to pick up. Slenderman is not behind you the whole time. In my opinion: I like that. It's more of an exploration type game, not a run and scream OH SHIT game. I can see casual, non-fans of the mythos, getting impatient.

Instead of Slenderman being after you the whole time, it's this weird orb that can kill you. I haven't beaten the game yet, but apparently Mr.Slendy does make an appearance. Also to note: There is somewhat of a map type system in this game where you can find maps throughout the park to assist you into not being completely lost.

I'll post on this once I beat it and give it a proper review.
Peace!

I've played that game before, and I've very impressed by it. The way the put the game together was awesome, with the story that went with it and the amazing atmosphere.

So, they have updated the game, and it is up to v1.1 know.

They added:
-A new area (aka A Death Camp)
-Changed Slendy's Character Model
-Added a Night Vision mode for the camera.
-Added Ghosts Confused (I'm kinda iffy on this part)

Ever noticed that two of the photos are Holocaust photos?

Yamimash showed the pictures in one of the playthroughs, and I apparently noticed one is a picture of Auschwitz and another in Bergen-Belsen.
