Am in again, too, as Temperance this time. HI Tenshi, Smile Winter Sylvana has some reading guidance in her "Welcome New Keepers" on the Card Keepers blog and...

the letter string on the "It's Time" entry was our trailhead cipher/email, a railfence cipher (4 rails with no offset) reading: we are ready to move forward when you are.

Hi all! So far the Gathering is pretty small yet the PW protected Update on the Cardkeepers Blog leads to an easy and quite interesting challenge for everyone.
First Phase Challenge PW solution (A hint is in the recent email)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
PW is 'waxing'

Very nice to see you again & Thx, Pia. Am also quite keen for Anna's story to progress and just found an email titled To My Current and Former Keepers among my spam.

In two excerpts from her email Winter Sylvana wrote:
Anna is in Istanbul and has been in contact with a woman there, a rather well-known Keeper. She has given me permission to tell her story once again through the Cardkeepers blog, as she herself does not wish to tell it. Therefore, I will be blogging again about Anna's recent adventures and how this chapter of her life unfolds

and...ENTER:
kebqnagftice
ahkromfsmyiemqnk
41.008548°N 28.979938°E

The coords lead to the Hagia Sophia. This Nat Geo video with a viable alternate spelling is incredible Video link. Any guesses on the mystery woman's name? Smile
Cipher Solve (Hint is in the Nat Geo video title)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's a Vigenére Cipher (each line is separate) with the keyword 'hagiasofia' reading:
Devin is alive
The journey begins

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

In "Moving Forward" , the Cardkeepers blog update, Winter Sylvana wrote:
Anna has an apartment and contacts in Istanbul. She need three things from us in order to communicate with one of her contacts:

1. The location of a Starbucks in Istanbul.
2. The name and location of a famous work of art in Istanbul.
3. When did Constantinople become Istanbul?
Coffee More keepers have returned/joined, more beaut First Phase Cards to view & am waiting for more Laughing talk here about the "work of art" tho have got some ideas.

EDIT: Just saw that HP posted a long blog comment reffying the Hagia Sophia (above posts). So, am mentioning that an iconic "work of art" there is the Deesis Mosaic.

No catch up needed!

I have it on good authority that you do not need prior knowledge of cardkeepers to join in!

This is a completely separate chapter! Smile

awesome news for all the newcomers!!

The latest chapter has just begun on the Penelope Corwin blog which has the Newsletter request form, an interesting sign-up containing valuable clues and info.

At the end of Newsletter Issue #1 Winter Sylvana wrote:
At Pulliam airport we found a locker rented in Penelope's name with an 8-digit numbered combination lock. Our current task is figuring out that combination

In addition to the twitter accn't link below Winter Sylvana updates The CardKeepers blog and can be contacted via her email: cardkeepersSPLATyahoo.com. HTH
Also Winter Sylvana on The Cardkeepers Twitter wrote:
Max and I are still trying to figure out what Penelope's text ("airport + philanthropist": my edit here) might have to do with the combination...
