Russell. Since you're typing with just one good hand I reckon grats all around. Was editing to *nudge* fernandocarulli to use his skillz on a book cover keeper task.

I wonder if we still get the readings from all our cards.

Yaha Russell, somber, it reminds me of both the tone and passages from T. S. Eliot's Little Gidding . And very Elethamei

Response from winter to the final solve:

Well I won't be choosing not to play at all, perhaps another board is required though.

Not Goodbye (just yet)
Dearest Keepers,
Thank you for all of the farewells and warm wishes. I am currently packing up to leave for the Phoenix airport. I will spend the night at a friend's apartment tonight and fly to Athens tomorrow. I will write again later tonight and again from the airport tomorrow. I will also continue posting readings for each of your assigned cards along with any new book cover submissions.
What I've learned from this journey so far is that you never know what's going to happen.
I do know that once I get to Europe you won't hear from me for awhile.
All of my love always,
Winter
Oog I can't tell if this is a break or whether she expected a higher take up if GATE positions so is forcing the move..

Maybe Penelope is finally coming out of hiding or maybe Aiden is taking over. (Also I don't know if we will ever return to Anna's story again)
Eta: I got the same email as you guys did.

Thank you for filling out our contact form. I have put you on our mailing list.
I also have a question for you: When are you in your element?
Possibly RL demands our PM takes a break & they are revising scenario aspects as the Kubriick quote suggests. The abruptness equates to the 5 stages of grief....
Maybe I'm in the bargaining phase b/c I'm truly hoping that Cardkeepers and Winter return quite soon. There's a blog update & it's been a pleasure playing with y'all.

I agree with you, Amandel. This is the first ARG that has brought me out from lurking mode. I look forward to whatever may come...

Thanks for the heads up, amandel, and kudos to you and Russel for the quick finds. (*joins in happy dance*) I followed the instructions, and sent in the following to Winter:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
À la recherche du temps perdu
I received the following reply... I'm putting it in a spoiler tag because I am not sure if it should be or not
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Dearest HP,
In Search of Lost Time was a novel in seven volumes written by Proust over a period of eighteen years. Much of it was published in fragmentary draft form. The similarities between the stories I have left to tell and his magnum opus are many.
We will begin with letters and journal entries. I can reveal them to you one at a time, over time. You may chose the first. It will become
1. Devin Collins
2. Penelope Corwin
3. An anonymous historian
Love, Winter
If I am interpreting the end of the letter correctly I am supposed to choose, so I chose 3. Thought I would post it though in case there was something other than simple mistakes at the end there. I'm never one to read too much into typos, but I wouldn't put it past our clever friend to hide something in plain sight.
