Nice spot! No ideas here yet. Will ponder.

Interesting. Very possible.

So a little more about the Celtic Cross spread. It is best used when a specific question is being considered. What is Anna's question? What happened to her Father?

Maybe. Or who sent her the cards.

I seem to think her Father sent them.

We've already gone past this point, but I wanted to quote the contents of the response Sivvy & the others gave me for the sake of posterity:

Quote:

Everything about "the corners of the earth" is significant to us. We can't speak for Anna and we don't know anything about FD.

Sivvy, Ginny, Annes, Melia, & Norma

Isn't it funny how all of their names have been truncated to precisely FIVE letters? At any rate, my revelations 7 thing didn't turn up anything useful.

Also they only mentioned Anna and FD because I asked if the corners of the earth meant anything to THEM.

Okay, I assumed Annes was Anna, but apparently not.

I was thinking the empty table in the dream. Do we have keepers for each suit in Minor Arcana? Maybe the next step is to send them one card from every suit?

There was also reference to the elements Earth, Wind, Fire, & Water. I went to the aecletic tarot website and found this:
http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/elemental-scarabeo/

It's an elemental tarot. Granted, there are also decks for each element (separate from the others) and other elemental tarots, too, but this one specifically states Earth, Wind, Fire & Water, unlike the others.

Anyway I like your idea of the suits, I am only considering if they need to be from a particular deck -- one example and possibility being the elemental deck noted here -- or something else entirely, perhaps (like Rider-Waite).

Dunno just throwing ideas out there.

Edit: Oh I forgot to mention. 252 is also an area code. Did we ever get an idea of where this is taking place? I don't see how that would pertain to the "puzzle" but I thought I would mention it anyway.

Edit Deux: Just adding to HappyPhantom's numerology find, this site:
http://www.tarotteachings.com/number-meaning-of-tarot-cards.html
Says you're supposed to add the numbers together. 2 + 5 + 2 = 9. Apparently nine means:

Quote:
Vision, Invention, Influence, Intellectual Power, Attainment, Anticipation.

but I was thinking that 252 could be a reference to 9th card on the celtic cross spread. That sounds far too complicated to be the case here but I... Rolling Eyes

On a telephone keypad 252 gets you AKA or 'also known as'.

I think that this is still a reference to the magician card. On the table in front of him in most decks, the magician has 4 specific items. Each item represents the four 'suits', which also represent the four elements. The wand is air, the disc/pentacle is earth, the sword is fire, and the cup is water. (I think I listed those correctly)
