My 2 card suggestions are:

The Sun: revelation, enlightenment, success

and

The Chariot: journeys, exploration, conquest, control

ETA: I don't know that we can deal the High Priestess, as it was one of the original cards on the blog. I am not certain about this, however.

Also, has anyone mentioned the train station in Flagstaff to see if that gets us any more information?

so i am assuming that everyone wants to continue deeper into the game..

Something catches me when they say they highly suggest we go back to normal life.

we could make them return home to something even more interesting...

just throwing that in there.

my vote still goes to head back. Smile lol

Something interesting that I noticed. The most recent post is called "Call Sign Cactus". Cactus is the call sign for US Airways, also the namesake for the arena where the Suns play. June and Jenna work(ed) for American Air, and their call sign is American. I have written to ask about this. No response yet.

ETA: Scratch that...I missed the part where Jenna works for America West. back in 1993 it was call sign Cactus, before the merger with US Airways. Also, it was confirmed that the wise one is at the amtrak station in Flagstaff.

I'm voting the Chariot. I don't think we can draw High Priestess, because none of us is the keeper of that card.

"The last thing we need right now is for the Keepers to be active again."
This sounds kinda scary Smile

I vote for the Chariot as well.

Wouldn't the logical card to play be the Magician?

After all we are dealing with twins and the Gemini symbol appears on that card.

Can we play cards not held by "us"? Also, the magician worries me as trickery can be involved.

the magician has already been played... and not by its keeper so I guess we can submit cards we don't hold.
Lots of votes for lucky number 7- Since I am the chariot should I try and submit?

on another note, I have all the names confirmed.

Sivvy - Sylvia Plath
Ginny - Virginia Woolfe
Annes - Anne Sexton
Anne Frank
Anne Lindbergh
(Annes as in more than one)
Melia - Amelia Airhart
Norma - Norma Jeane Mortenson

Of course you know us, we are all soul mates.

We have some information for you, but the time is not quite right for us to divulge it.

Yours,
Sivvy, Ginny, Annes, Melia, & Norma

Gah! The Annes were totally throwing me. I suspected Anne Frank but couldn't figure out why it was plural. Very well done!

I am for you submitting your card. Not sure how we are doing this process though Smile

"OK, you get to submit one, and only one, card. You have two choices in terms of what you choose to submit. You can choose to stop everything, right now, and go back to your normal life, which is the option I highly suggest, or you can choose to move forward and go deeper, which I warn you is quite risky. Either way I will give you your next set of information and directions, after I have the card."

hmm I haven't submitted yet, I want to proceed catiously...
I just noticed that highly is in italics. I could be just plain emphasis but that feels unlikely.... I am going to ask them a couple of questions...

ETA:
I am thinking it's the High Priestess. There is already a High Priestess post on the blog so I asked about that, among other things we have been asking in here.
We should have a much better idea of the 'rules' for submission if they answer.

Sarah makes a compelling case so my vote is also Strength. That's 2 Strength; 3 Chariot; 1 Magician & 1 High Priestess atm?

I want to say high priestess (if it's playable) because:
Quote:
Basic Tarot Meaning

Once you have an idea, you also have decisions to make. The High Priestess holds scrolls of arcane information in her arms. In addition, the moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see...

This is what the card is all about. Seated between two pillars as between two choices, the High Priestess is not about making a decision so much as holding decision-making at bay while you take time to listen to your inner voice. She wants you to gain knowledge before you act: instinctual knowledge, supernatural knowledge, secret knowledge, self-knowledge.

The High Priestess, however, goes beyond even that for those who seek more. Behind her throne is the curtain that leads to the deepest, most esoteric knowledge; the pomegranates that decorate it remind us of Persephone, who was taken down into the land of the dead, ate its fruit and became the only goddess allowed to travel to and from that strange land. The High Priestess is our guide to all that is mysterious and mystical.

and because 'highly' is in italics

Highly is used to describe the choice of returning home, not of playing a card. Just wanted to point that out.

Understood.
Like I said before it was just a hunch.
They have a tendency to leave 'clues' in plain sight.

I asked them if a card being posted on the blog meant that it was already presented, using the Priestess as an example.
(I am hoping they will throw us something to go on)
I also asked if a card could be presented more than once, and if we had to be the keepers of the card we choose to present.

ETA: my reply from cardkeepers:

Quote:
The keepers may present any card in the deck that they choose, regardless of whether or not a particular keeper actually holds a card or whether or not the card has been played before.

In addition to this card, Anna, Clara, and Martin will be asked to present three more cards over the course of the next 24 hours.

There will also be a time, at a later date, when the Keepers will be required to come forward with their own cards in response to specific clues.

These are interesting things to know. Nice questioning. I still vote for the Chariot, however.
