True, but as has been seen so far, they often play with words to provide clues. I think that is what Happy is getting at. Smile

As for me...I am going to jump on the bandwagon (or should I say bandchariot? Laughing) and vote The Chariot.

With that said, if Happy's suspicions are correct, then something with High in its name should be used (I think). Wink

Something to note here: they told me in an e-mail that the clues given would detail how and when to submit a card. This last post is the culmination of those clues (this is me guessing). I think whatever card we decide, it should be the keeper of that card who submits it [provided that we aren't submitting a card which belongs to an NPC or an absent player (Such as the Sun's Keeper)].

At any rate, I've voted, and I am perfectly okay with being overruled, ignored, or launched off a cliff for storyline purposes. Wink

EDIT: Laughing Okay wow I keep posting right after someone says something which negates my post lol...having just read HappyPhantom's response from the cardkeepers, I'll just say that I vote for the Chariot, and leave it at that. Thank you. Dunce

Yes, it is time for the Keepers to submit a card.

I know which one I would like to submit.
If I am wrong, do the other keepers get a chance to guess correctly?

There are no right or wrong answers.

I really want to submit the priestess, (my instincts scream priestess) but I don't want to go against you guys.

I feel, and this is just me, that because it wasn't emailed to a single person we really should go with the most votes. Why do you get to choose over someone else? This part seems like a team work part to me. But that is just me.

I am by no means trying to keep the choice to myself. That's why I am here and haven't just sent a reply yet. I wanted to, but thought maybe we should do this as a team.

Rock On S.P.I & have added your vote to the lil running tally on the prev page. Possibly the below comes in handy here:

In Winter Sylvana's trailhead post she wrote:

ETA: Am heading to Sleepyville soon with a favor to ask. Can whoever submits plse do it in the form of a blog comment so we all see it exactly?

Yeah, I think the way i look at it is this: Had the time come to send in a card in an email to someone, such as the first card that was played, the receiver could choose whether or not to go with a group decision. Since the opportunity was given in a blog post, so to everyone, teamwork seems the right way to go. We should act soon, however. Who knows if others are following along and not here, and might submit before us.

I agree.... with chariot being the lead vote so far, and me being it's keeper, I posted it on the blog. I don't want to wait too long. Remember: 2 more cards will be needed to be presented in the next 24 hours....

ETA:
sorry if y'all feel I was jumping the gun but I felt we needed to act quickly

And a new post with photo of Chariot card:

Quote:
The Chariot is a card of great potential, but the end result depends on the effort expended to make it a reality.

Success through the Chariot card requires focus and perseverance. The Card Keepers have shown nothing less.

This card tends to show an inner conflict that needs to be controlled in order to achieve success. Focus is needed on one path; scattered energies will not bring achievement of the goal.

The Chariot also indicates travel…

ETA: I just thought of something and have written to them to ask about it. Are we presenting cards in a reading type, such as the celtic cross? The position of the cards has meaning then as well. We might need to take that into consideration. And have we laid 2 cards, with the magician being the first and the chariot being the second? Or maybe more if we include the cards presented on the blog not by us. Awaiting a response.

ETA2: We need to look into the Celtic Cross positions more.

Quote:
This is an excellent question. Yes, the Keepers have presented two cards: The Magician and now The Chariot. The formation you are using was presented on the blog: The Celtic Cross.

ETA3: I think we are ok so far. Our next presented card will be for the distant past.

Although there are other ways of looking at this now that I do more research.

I agree, excellent question and great thinking!

New Post:

Quote:
Travelers
Anna pulled out her deck and hesitated. She wanted to throw the cards into the air and let them fall where they may. What if she chose wrong? She turned to Clara and Martin. Clara took the deck and spread the cards out on the table face down. Then she drew a card and handed it to Jenna.

Jenna took the card and smiled. Then she opened her notebook and said, "I have some important information for you. Be sure to copy down everything I say."

Martin took a legal pad and pen out of his backpack and started writing. Anna and Clara listened with rapt attention as Jenna talked. When she was done she handed Anna a business card. "Here, my card for your card."

"Do you keep my card?"

"Yes, of course. But you will receive cards from others. That's how it works among the Keepers. Now, hold on to my card and call me if you run into trouble. The number on that card leads to an electronic mailbox that allows you to leave a verbal message. Be sure to call me and leave a message anytime you have a problem. That's the mistake my sister made. She didn't call me."

"What happened to your sister?" Anna asked.

"That's a story for another time. But it was an accident. Nobody was at fault, except for maybe June, who was in over her head."

Jenna stood up and slung her purse over her shoulder. She looked around at Anna, Clara, and Martin. "Go now, and see the wise one. He'll give you your next set of directions. Remember everything I told you."

She left, and Anna, Clara, and Martin left after her. Nobody saw that they were all being followed.

ETA:
This Link offers a pretty straightforward explanation of the celtic cross...

Quote:
Card 1: The present
Card 2: The immediate challenge facing the querent. You will often pull a difficult card here, which will indicate an obstacle that must be overcome. When you pull a "good" card here, examine it carefully because it will still represent a challenge.
Card 3: Distant past, foundation. This card should indicate the root of the subject matter of the question
Card 4: More recent past, including events. This will indicate events taking place, not necessarily directly connected to the question. For example, if a love affair going wrong Card 3 would show the root of why it is going wrong, whereas Card 4 will show something that recently happened to reflect this. You could see this as a "check comment" card - a way of seeing that the reading is sound.
Card 5: The best that can be achieved. This is directly related to the question. Note that this may not necessarily gel against Card 10 - it depends whether you are able to get the best. However, a negative card here probably means that it is worth cutting your losses rather than putting any more effort into the situation.
Card 6: Immediate Future. This indicates events in the next few days or week(s). This reading does not cover months.
Card 7: Factors or inner feelings affecting the situation. Compare this against Card 1 in order to understand underlying forces/trends. If there is conflict between them this tends to indicate that the querent is going in the wrong direction.
Card 8: External influences. People, energies or events which will affect the outcome of the question and are beyond the querent's control.
Card 9: Hopes or fears around the situation. This may produce a card that confuses us badly. Always bear in mind that hopes and fears are closely intertwined, therefore that which we hope for may also be that which we fear, and so may fail to happen. Sometimes it is useful to draw a second card for clarification after the reading has been laid, and to read the two together.
Card 10: Final outcome. This is a fairly self explanatory card. However it is worth saying that if the card comes up somewhat ambiguous, once again it may be worth drawing three extra cards to clarify. These should be interpreted through the lens of Card 10. So if the card drawn is the Tower and we draw the Ace of Cups, Princess of Cups and Four of Cups in a reading about a relationship, the Tower would indicate that it is time to move on. The Ace of Cup suggests that a new relationship is promised with better things ahead. The Princess of Cups brings new love (and possibly pregnancy). The Four of Cups shows deep levels of contentment and happiness, and many options for progress.

So we know the wise one is at the Amtrak station in Flagstaff. The card posted on the blog has a train, and the card we dealt has to do with travel. I think we are going on a train ride.

ETA: along with being mindful of the celtic cross we should alsop remember, as someone mentioned many pages back and I can't remember who, cards can be dealt upside down, giving other meanings. We should consider those when choosing cards as well.

Sarah makes a compelling case so my vote is also Strength. That's 2 Strength; 3 Chariot; 1 Magician & 1 High Priestess atm?

i voted go back

but if thsts not being considered then id play strength too

EDIT - this moves too fast to even keep a track on. Who decided to submit a card?! before all the votes were cast... Confused

i deffo felt we jumped the gun there. I was with teh there when she said that should have been decided as a team and i didnt see EVERYONE whos playing this comment as to what card should be submitted BEFORE you submitted it. HAD my vote been waited for it would have been a 3 for 3 count and tal had not voted yet...

I do think the gun was jumped a bit, BUT we can't wait forever of else we never will move on. Maybe we need to come up with a time frame for votes when we do them? But it needs to be realistic. Waiting for everyone to comment is unrealistic, however. Some people haven't commented in ages.
