 		For future reference, I vote with the majority. If I disagree I will say something to explain my position as to why. I am following what is going on but haven't had anything to add to the discussion.

I do think the gun was jumped a bit, BUT we can't wait forever of else we never will move on. Maybe we need to come up with a time frame for votes when we do them? But it needs to be realistic. Waiting for everyone to comment is unrealistic, however. Some people haven't commented in ages.

I had sent you a mail on here expressing how I was angry about submitting a card without asking everyone also. I did not make much of a song and dance about it because I do not post on here I do follow this game but I am also angered at the submitting of the chariot card.

I only posted here so i can give a face to one of the people that emailed mrshomersimpson. I do not want to anger the overlord!

I am really sorry you are so upset. In the future, what do you think a fair time frame is? I really do think waiting for everyone who is "playing" to vote is impractical. We could wait forever, which would stall the game. Is 24 hours long enough? 48? I really hope you don't choose to scrap the team aspect. It seems like that is very important in some instances. HP submitted without asking the group if it was ready, however, and there isn't anything we can do to change that move. All we can do is try to make it work better in the future. Please don't let this make you angry.

Unfortunately this I find to be a but unfair. How are people to know they are waiting for someone who doesn't post, and just joined the board today, to vote? Welcome to the group, however!

Its not your fault teh... i have already emailed the cardkeepers to see if there is a way out this.

If the team aspect was so important then it was all the more important to wait. However that said it is by no means your fault teh.

I am one of these ppl that NEED to voice the opinion, liked or not. I certainly feel that hp should have consulted the group more and NOT just submitted on a whim because it was leading at the time. A proper planned out game would not be stalled by non submittance of a card, id imagine they would have just picked one for us and moved it on. But thats a behind the curtain kinda thing.

I think we need to slow this pace down a little anyways because lets face it its been running for a short time and its already at 34 odd pages. Im finding it hard to keep up and i know if i am then others must be too. (even if they wont admit it)

No, I understand that you were saying you were one of the people who messaged her. What I am saying is that we can't account for is people we don't know exist. It seems unfair for someone to be angry that a card was submitted when the group was completely unaware of them. In fact, knowing that others could be following along and not participating here, where all of the major keepers happened to be at one point, is actually part of why a card should be submitted rather quickly. I hope that you join the group here, and participate with us in the future. I also hope you can see the point in the group trying to act before those who might be following along on their own.

In any case, I really don't think anything was done with the intention of angering anyone. It is hard to work as such a large group, and maybe we need to work just a little bit harder in the future. We really do have an amazing group of people here.

I think we should account for those WHO DO

I dont see that we have been doing this so far, so again i think tighter group work and making double sure before we submit anything. As i said i have mailed them to see about changing cards or undoing this or if anythign can be done. I also ( not gonna lie ) asked about just everyone doing the massive free for all. Unless we can all agree to work and listen to each other and take things into account, checking all the angles rather than just jumping in.

I am also not really able to say oh ok give me x amout of time to reply to a post because i dont really have that option at the moment but i think that we are not rushed in this game. The game has been going at lightning speed so again i think we DO have time as a luxuary..

These will be my last thoughts on this I believe. I think you are forgetting that while TINAG, this really is just a game. Getting angry about it is silly. Your info says you have been here for under a year, so maybe you just haven't played enough games, but working in a group rarely goes the way everyone wants it to. To say you can't give a timeframe for decisions to be made is kind of ridiculous. You can't ask a group of people to wait indefinitely, especially when there is the chance that some people may never vote.

You have had the option of going free-for-all this entire time. I have a feeling, however, that you will be sorely disappointed more often than not if you go that route. There are some of us who have the luxury of time and will undoubtedly beat you to the punch almost every time. To me, this game has been moving very slowly. To slow it down even more means I will probably lose interest entirely, which isn't a good thing or a bad thing. It just is what it is.

Just remember that this is supposed to be for fun. If you aren't having fun do what you need to so that will change. Otherwise, what is the point of adding another thing in life that is unenjoyable? (I doubt they will say there is anything that can be done about the card presented, however. The story has already progressed and it would be very strange and curtain breaking to take that back.) Please don't be offended by any of my words. They aren't meant to be rude, just realistic. In my experience, which is more years than I care to count now, group work never turns out exactly as you would like it to.

I have a right to voice my opinion which i did, IRELEVANT when i joined. I still have participated in some of the majors. ( i was a bit annoyed at your presumption so slightly offended yes. - should not matter when i joined and how many games i have played. I get the concept)

This is my last thought, I stand by what i said and you agree that the gun was jumped. I have a right to be angry if i wish. Just next time lets all not try and jump the gun if we have interested players we shouldnt discourage them from being afraid to give an opinion. ALL players opinionated or not deserve a chance to participate.

- Right now this game is a bit fast for me aswell, but six months ago it would have been spot on. It's part of which games one chooses to join.
- My vote would have been The Chariot.
- I think 48 hours from post to decision is a resonable timeframe, and I think we should all agree on it so that the next decision is smooth and joyful for us all. This is how routines are developed, friends Smile

What are your, and anyone else's, thoughts on the distinction between group decision card choosing and individual card choosing. (for example: tome if an opportunity to present a card is given in a blog post it is a group decision vs. if it is presented to an individual in an email (such as it was for the first card because someone figured out to send in an image of their card)? While it might be nice for the individual to ask for a group consensus, I do not believe they have to go with it or even ask to begin with.)
