Then, based on HappyPhantom's speculation, I began searching for something with AXE in the name:

- fdaxe (through twitter)
- #fdaxe (through twitter)
- fd hatchet (through google, once I realized HappyPhantom said "hatchet")

Then I discovered that FDX is a type of MINI-AXE. That probably doesn't help us. I also discovered a FIRE DEPARTMENT (F.D.) in Little Axe. That didn't help much, either.

I scoured through the source of parts of the website (not all of it), but I am still fairly new to that thing so if there was something there I likely missed it.

I am going to stare at the tarot cards posted and see if there is some hint hidden away in them now. Magician, Fool, High Priestess. MFHP? He he.

Also, I noticed the little girl's name is ANNA, which might very well be ANNES, the fool - perhaps that is a pet name FD called her by. Though, I originally suspected it to be a derivative of the name AENEAS.

Anyway, enough cluttering the thread for me! Rolling Eyes

@HappyPhantom: Yes, FD & the Magician might very well be the same person. Interesting theory.

EDIT: Is it possible that the D in FD refers to the word DECK? Like a type of DECK that starts with F? I did a google search on those terms and found the Faery Wicca Tarot, the Fairy Tarot, the Fantastical Tarot, the Feng Shui Tarot, the Fey Tarot, the Fradella Adventure Tarot, and the Frontera tarot.

Also, going back to my theory that ANNA (the child) is the fool, it would fall in line with one interpretation of the tarot, as some people believe that the major arcana represent the FOOL'S narrative - his own story. I wonder if there is a FOOL DECK...he he...get it? Fool? Deck? Okay I'm leaving now. Dunce

Ok so what is crazy is I was just doing that same thing! I came back to post about sending them my card and you had beaten me to it! Well done Smile

I did not send the drawing from here, however. I tend to take TINAG rather to heart and there would be no way, without our oog forum, I would have that card. Plus, I feel Tal should be the one to use the specially drawn card if anyone Smile

I was trying a bunch of random things -- anything that popped into my mind -- hoping to get lucky. And I've always considered myself rather lucky - like karma was on my side - so I guess it was reasonable that the wheel of fortune was bestowed upon me (although this is likely a case of confirmation bias).

Anyway, congratulations to Justice for moving the story forward. But what shall Justice bring? Dun dun dun! ARG

Also good job to Star on figuring it out as well (now since Justice's e-mail spoke of "other opportunities", does that mean that they will not be accepting your e-mail at this time or that they will save it for later?).

So I guess THAT is what they meant by "find the <insert>". They wanted us to "find" it Laughing

 		Yes, I assume they will not accept my email but who knows. I am hoping there turns out to be more interaction at some point. Puzzle solving is not my forte, but emails and such really is. A billion years ago I got an unintended plot line written into an ARG where a robot dog started emailing players. It was wonderful!

 		I emailed to ask about contacting both FD and Anna and got this as a reply.

So I guess that we are either along for the ride, or maybe even able to alter the past if we try hard enough. I don't really know, I am however eager to see how the story pans out with justice as the lead.

New thought as I am typing this, what if the story has no set path, and by sending in certain cards at cross roads we influence poor Anna's search for FD and her eventual fate?

I note here, LittleLoki, that no mention is made of the present. This is significant. The future and the past cannot coincide with the present. The first line seems to be referencing determinism, whereas the second line is finality (okay, it's not 'finality' finality but it sounds cooler that way). The third line is our perception from the present (and perhaps the actual fact), whereas the fourth line speaks of the mind's tendency to step back into the past -- our constant reminders of past successes and failures -- but also this line hints at the coming consequences of past actions. I think. I mean, if we really even need to interpret this poem. Laughing

That is what I am thinking also. Especially considering the wording of that e-mail regarding the choosing of Justice. It hints at that. Or, if ultimately this ARG isn't about Anna, I believe this would still be true of someone or something else. Wink

Firstly, I love Dakota Fanning. Secondly, do you mind explaining what you mean by this? I am imagining that cellophane is a type of material that you can wrap things in and WRITE UPON thus saving you the trouble of penning a note. At least, that was what your comment led me to infer. If this is true, it's entirely possible that F.D. doesn't care about efficiency (or the environment Laughing) OR this could be a question the PMs wanted us to ask (though there I go again being crazy).

Well done Justice! (And I'm feeling pretty dumb since my email simply said "You are ready when you find strength". A simple "Found it, here it is!" seems easy enough to produce, but oh noes Smile)

When it comes to the order of the cards, I guess we (as a team) just drew Justice, as in we are telling Annas fortune card by card. Next card with be placed in relation to Justice and so on.

S.P.I. - it's probably the kind of cellofan that factory made stuff is wrapped in, the kind you have to peel of when you open new stuff, which is she found the hand-written note odd.


Edit: New entry. They're moving into the suits. (Oh, MensVenatus already kinda mentioned that.)
