Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'm not going to lie, I jumped when Hoody pulled the gun on Alex. I was positively expecting him to die right there, but my expectations were BLOWN AWAY because ol' Oppy intervened. That was a great entry; a few steps above the last one which, while it was good, did not excite me like this, Entry #60, and Entry #65 did.

I can't even believe that Hoody had a violent side! It just seemed that he used Masky for all of the dirty work, and he was just the "mastermind" that looked ominous and left clues. When that pipe collided with Alex's head... Daaaaaaamn.

I still have questions though... What was Alex doing there? Why is Hoody trying SO HARD to get Tim to embrace his Masky-ness? And, how would Tim react to this being posted...? He said he didn't remember anything, but wouldn't he have protested the uploading of a tape that labels him as a (nearly) accessory to murder...?

Awesome entry.

This was so good. The first entry
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
without audio
since season 1? It's such a simple effect but works so well. (Disquieting, even Cool)

Wow. This entry gave us so many questions. I WANT SOME ANSWERS SOON! It seems to me that Hoody is afraid of Alex. He hates him, but is also threatened by him. He's never really made a bold attack.
I also wonder when this takes place. Because Tim IS wearing the chest cam.

After the events of #65, I'm guessing.

Jay, why the hell did you not go right to the hospital from the park?!

I have to say, MH is really starting to piss me off with their Lost-esque style of "Let's not answer any questions - but we'll throw like 400 new ones at you an episode!"

They better answer everything, and wrap this shit up nice and neat at the end. Mad

Other than the lack of questions answered, and the "Let's give viewers a billion questions" thing this was an entertaining entry.

Am I the only one who doesn't want every question answered?

I'm a sucker for unanswered mysteries and I find explaining everything to be a really boring way to end a series. If it leaves no unanswered questions to speculate about, it leaves me with an empty "Huh, so that's all" feeling. I honestly don't want a series like MH which is based on a deep sense of mystery and the fear born from the lack of knowledge to end on a "everything is explained, happy end!" type of note. I want to be able to be scared and my hairs to be raised by the atmosphere of fear by this series in the future as well without having the air shot out of it by a knowledge of why and how it all happened.

Well that was... Interesting. (Yay, return of the pre-video white text!)

This entry did answer something for me I think. I think the whole Hoody thing is starting to come to an end, he/she is becoming a LOT more bold now, one thing I'm a bit confused on though, is that (If) Hoody left that tape there for Jay, which judging by what was on it isn't gonna be for anyone else, what's Hoody trying to do? Gain Jay's trust? Show Tim lied about "No more secrets."?

I think it's pretty obvious by this point that Hoody "checked" on the tape to get Jay to find it. Also that Hoody most likely doesn't teleport, He/she is just a REALLY good stalker.

Edit: Out of everyone confirmed to be still alive, I'm pretty sure Jay's the only one who wasn't there, Alex, Tim, Hoody & The Operator all within 20 metres. Although... What might've happened to Tim when Hoody saw TO and legged it?

I have to leave now, but I'd like there to be discussion on the following points so we can update the wiki appropriately (Both "Entry #67" and "Hospital Tape"):

  • Who was the one filming in the tan jacket and gloves? I'm assuming this was Hoody.
  • When did this take place? It looks like it's definitely in the past few months, given Alex's beard and Tim's outfit.
  • Is Tim pulling out his cell phone at the end of the video? Is he trying to call someone? If this is Tim calling Jay, this might help us place when it happened.

Spectograph Results

Okay, just watched it. There were some beeps at around 4:00 that sounded...interesting? Possibly something in the spectograph, but I doubt it.

Made an account just for this.

That's what my spectrograph shows for that time period.

1) I'm assuming the gloves and sleeves mean it was Hoodie filming this.

2) Given the LIAR message on the wall, Tim's outfit and that Tim was wearing the chestcam, this takes place when Tim went missing (during Entry 65)

3) It looked like a cell phone to me. Maybe he was trying to call Jay? We didn't see him actually talk on the phone, but perhaps he was dialing to leave the message we heard toward the end of Entry 65.

Yeah, I edited in a screenshot for what I saw, and I saw the same. Nothing important.

1 - It was definitely Hoody.
2- Likely right after the moment in Entry #65 when Tim passed out after beating on the HiaL wall.
3 - I'm not sure. If he was calling Jay, then it really wouldn't fit with 65 too well, because the message that Jay got was at, like, 3AM, and yet the footage of Tim calling showed daylight. Maybe he's calling someone else?

Just as I was starting to get bored, 4:40 rolled around. Holy shit.

...and exactly one minute after that, at 5:40... Holy fucking shit.

But yeah, I know they aren't going to wrap up everything with a nice tidy bow at the end (nor would I want them to) but neither do I want to see some cop out Lost type "it's over, fuck you" ending.

Fortunately, Marble Hornets is way better than Lost. Just, you know, it would be nice to have some questions answered...

Did anyone think the Operator was difficult to see due to the light? Took me a bit to realize that was him.

So I guess Hoody still needs Alex for some reason? Because Hoody could have easily made good on that "last birthday" thing well before the Operator showed.
