Okay, fine, but I'm 100% sure it wasn't the gun

Unless that's what they want you to think, and one of The Operator's lesser-known powers is the ability to make guns look like phones.

Thinking I should probably re-watch this, because as mentioned earlier, I was basically losing consciousness the whole way through.

But my first impression was that it was a gun, from the way he held it, & he way he reacted to it.

Don't remember whether or not Hoody had the gun in the final shots. Or how they went from Hoody at night to Tim during the day, for that matter.

Yeah, definitely need to re-watch.

Reading this forum after reading "Twelve Angry Men" gives such a flare of drama added to these conversations.

Anyway, I have no idea what to make of this entry. I don't think it is filler because it adds complicated mechanics to Hoody and Tim's relationship. "He is a liar" is clearly being said about the fact that Tim denied working with Hoody at any point. Also, I think it is pretty clear that Alex is protected by TO.

4 possibilities, the way I see it:

1. It was a phone, he was still Masky

2. It was a phone, he was Tim

3. It wasn't a phone, he was still Masky.

4. It wasn't a phone and he was Tim.

I find the first idea to be ridiculous, because based on Masky's persona and previous actions, it seems highly unlikely that he would be using a phone. If he was Tim, then he was keeping secrets either way. If it was the third option, then that opens a whole new can of worms as to what might have happened.

Also, if he was still Masky, then that raises the question of why Hoody was hiding. Frankly, there are a lot of potential answers to that question, and none of them stick out as being any more or less likely than the rest.

Some thoughts on Entry 67:

All the Marble Hornets characters have skulls made of high-carbon steel.

Masky is violent, but not to the point of murder. I would like to think that, somewhere inside Tim's shattered psyche, is a core of stregnth and will that prevents the Operator from controlling him altogether. That my be why TO persecutes Tim but protects Alex.

Hoodie, on the other hand, is a stone cold killer. I'm certain he would have shot if TO hadn't shown up.

Poor Tim puked his guts up when he regained conciousness outside. Overdose cured!

I'm inclined to believe that what Tim was holding at the end was just his phone, and his reaction was probably to the date/time, when he realized however long he had been out.

I hope that totheark makes a response to this entry, because it would be interesting after what happened.

That would be kind of weird, seeing as he presumably wanted Jay to see the tape, but Jay has gotten very little of the tape to load.

Right now I'm running under the following assumptions regarding the tape quality:

  • Jay and Tim didn't actually get to the hospital until a week after they originally said they would be. Hoody probably hid the tape there under the presumption that they would find it right away. That's likely why Hoody was checking on it, to make sure that it was still there and not completely damaged, but was cut short when he noticed Jay and Tim were there already.
  • Since it was a storm that prevented Jay and Tim from going when they intended, and the hospital is entirely exposed to the elements, it's likely that the weather worsened the condition.
  • It's impossible to determine the extent of the Operator's interference on digital or analog recordings until they are played back. Hoody probably didn't check the video to make sure it was all good.
  • Even if he did check the video, what we saw was the important stuff, anyway.

This is how you spot underage users.

A theory:

Alex murdering bruce was Alex in his "masky" state. The same way Tim goes back to the hospital/rosswood when in his state, Alex goes back to the tunnel (Alex went back multiple times in season 2 according to Jay.)

We can hear hoody cough in this entry, which implies that he is NOT in a masky state (tim coughs like a mofo except for when in masky state, where he doesn't make a sound) Although hoody's cough is very subtle, so he may not have the slender sickness after all. Also people are quick to say he's messed up in the head because he stalks people, but Tim did the same thing in his masky state and then turned out to be somewhat normal.

So hoody wants to kill alex since alex is the one who got him involved in some fashion, but alex is always hiding. Just like how alex used jay to lure out tim, hoody is using tim to lure out alex. It seems like Alex keeps going back after tim, knocking him out, and leaving him alone for long periods of time. This is what we need an answer for

When has TTA ever been clear, when he could be obscure instead?

That's exactly why he would respond. If the rest of the tape can't be salvaged, then he has to get the information to Jay somehow. A TTA response is almost certain.

So ToTheArk got screwed over by the wait? That's actually pretty hilarious.

Anyway, so, response video may or may not be coming, is basically what we've figured out.
