Haven't seen the entry yet, just perusing this topic to get a feel of what to look for when I do, but I feel the need to respond to this:

Quote:
Am I the only one who doesn't want every question answered?

I'm a sucker for unanswered mysteries and I find explaining everything to be a really boring way to end a series. If it leaves no unanswered questions to speculate about, it leaves me with an empty "Huh, so that's all" feeling.

I've been down the "not answering questions isn't deep, it's terrible writing" road before, it never seems to go anywhere, so let me approach this from a different angle:

If they answer questions:
The people who want questions answered will obviously be happy.
The people who don't want questions answered can choose to ignore the answers, or find other things to argue about.

If they do not:
The people who don't want questions answered will obviously be happy.
The people who want questions answered feel legitimately unfulfilled and can't do shit about it. No, they can't make up answers, because that's not an answer, that's something that might or might not be true.

Huh, I had a really weird glitch with this entry. It was acting like it was 5: 31 in length. Now that I've seen the rest of it though, I'm thinking it might have been better like that or only a couple of seconds longer. Nothing I couldn't figure out on my own happened after Hoody pulled the gun on Alex. Although seeing The Operator appear right as Alex was going to get shot is pretty scary. Probably the most pissed off Oppy's ever been.

Also a shame this wasn't released on Valentine's Day. Notice how Hoody goes to such lengths to protect Tim, while The Operator appears in order to protect Alex. Very heartwarming.

I'm going to make some guesses at the big questions of this entry.

When does this take place?

I'm personally going for right after entry 65. The pipe Hoodie picked up may have been the exact same pipe Tim was using to beat the wall.

Why was Alex there?

Well, since Alex called Jay and Tim in entry 64, it's likely that he was following them. After Tim drove off at the end of entry 64 Alex probably followed him to the hospital to finish him off for good.

Did Hoodie want them to find this?

This question is really hard to answer. I can't see what Hoodie gains from showing Jay this, unless s/he's just sort of trying to intimidate Jay for some reason. I'm not sure why Hoodie would want to do that though.

I guess the people who wanted to see TTA make good on their "this is your last birthday" threat got their wish. Razz

I think you're right about all of this. Didn't the chest cam stop recording after Tim was in the Hospital for an hour or so? It's perfectly reasonable that this could have happened.
I also liked your point about Alex following him there. He was definitely looking for Tim, because he followed the sound of the coughing. He also told JAY to leave the tunnel in 64, not Tim.
I wonder what's going to happen with that "This is your last birthday" threat. They don't have much time to kill Alex off (unless it happened in this entry, which I highly doubt).

I mean honestly it was just a threat. Just like the gun. It was TTA sending a message. Though I like the idea of an unstoppable TTA

*sigh*

What a dumb entry. They have completely lost all of their creativity with this series. And that saddens me deeply.

When he clubbed Alex, I was like "hell yes." When they decided to mute everything Alex says, and then have the operator appear on screen for LITERALLY A MILLISECOND and then went back to more pointless following of tim, i cringed and actually said "god dammit" out loud

I dunno, I think every season has had its dip, but with the last two seasons, they got out of the dip and the payoff was great, so I will have faith and say that it should be getting crazy soon.

I hope.

I do see your point. At this time in the series, muting something like that, muting Alex's audio, is a bit silly. It's time for stuff like that to be heard.

It wouldn't be marble hornets without Pravado about how dumb an entry is.

I honestly liked this entry, It shows us more about Hoody (And what he's capable to do) Shows us Alex may be still alive, and with TO still by his side, and Tim beating up alex - How is that not good to see?

Basic gist of what Alex was probably saying: "Let me go! Let me go you ****ing ****! I'm gonna kill you for this! Hey, where are you going!? Get out of this place right now while you still have the chance! Do you really think you're-"

Oh, anyone else catch what sounds like Hoody breathing at 4: 05? S/he's a getting a lot more human.

The return of Alex! And not his end, in my opinion. Seems like Hoody bounced pretty quick upon TO's arrival. Definitely some sort of cooperative dynamic between the two of them, just as with Hoody and Tim.

One thing we can't do is make too much of any audio/visual distortions, except for what you'd expect from TO's presence. Anything and everything could be explained away as damage to the tape, so it's fruitless to speculate.

It's be nice to get a lip-reader in to see what Alex was saying, but I doubt it'd be anything too important. Trosephim wouldn't give anything major away that easily.

As for what Tim was holding at the end... it looked rather like the pistol to me. The way he was holding it just screams 'gun' to anyone who watches a lot of media with them in. Maybe Hoody gave it to him to make him question what he did while he was out, or maybe it was a parting gift to make him less useless in a situation. Or maybe it was Hoody's way of telling him to start getting aggressive.

Or maybe I'm wrong, and it wasn't a gun at all! Maybe.

Maybe, but probably not. The series has turned into a boring game of cat and mouse, they cut out all the moments where there's any sign of immediate threat, and this whole leaving a tape for someone to find DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE

like would it have killed them to show the operator peer around the corner and THEN have it cut? On top of that, Alex's yelling at hoody would have been a nice touch, removing the audio was just removing content

Alex is clearly not dead or they would have made it more obvious, and we can already assume nothing big comes of this since this took place like 2-3 months ago. You can say it's not filler all you want but it totally is in this case

Only redeeming part of the entry was the head bash. Don't know why I keep expecting things to go places. They're just reusing the same plots over and over. Person A stalks person B, person B gets injured and we don't know what happens to them afterwards.

It tells you literally nothing new about hoody. We knew he was a master stalker a really long time ago, and anyone is capable of clubbing someone with some rebar. We knew Alex was alive since he called Jay in the tunnel a few entries ago, and there's no reason to believe the operator ever "detached" from alex.

Tim's beating up of alex was pretty weak. Looked super fake.

Hate to be so critical cause they're cool guys, but good lord spend more time writing scripts.

A few things to note:

1. Hoody clearly wanted them to find the tape, but it was too damaged for them to get all of what he meant them to find out. Expect a TTA entry within the next month to fill in the gaps.

2. Hoody (and probably Tim) were definitely in the slendyverse for a minute there.

3. Hoody was pointing his gun at something in the slendyverse. Presumably guns are useless against TO, so it was probably Alex.
