So, as a horror film, does it rely on jump scare/screamer tactics?

It has some jump scares, but like I said I think it does a good job at suspense building. When something leaves me terrified and nothing has even happened yet, I call it a success. =P

I think that's why I like the distortion (although not everyone did, I see). Some of it is just this vague background static, not ear-rape. ~~Unlike Emma screaming~~

Finally finished watching it. Very gut-wrenching, with Emma's agony. And that last scene, was scary. Well done.

I liked the last scene, that was about it really. I don't know acting was ok, but I just wasn't that impressed.
