I just caught up as well and so far this series isn't that bad at all, the one where shit really gets real

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
and slendy bitchslaps that kid into the next town with the flick of a finger during the camping video

as well as other parts with similar severity are keeping me motivated to continue to watch this.

Also their SM looks really good, even good enough for the kind of shots they're doing at least IMO.

Nice to see someone else diggin' on this series,@AssassinB!I agree with what you said about
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
that scene while they were camping.It was pretty epic!

I love the attention to detail that these guys have and their antagonist vids are fresh and entertaining with their own flavor.The characters have good comaraderie and they also interject humor and their relationships feel organic.

I also like how they are
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
treating "Slender Sickness" like a bonafide disease akin to TB.Nice touch!

I'm looking forward to the next entry of this series Smile

I like at how first he calls it mono which would actually be realistic, if you were sampling on all the ladies and suddenly you developed a cough had a hard time sleeping and occasionally would excrete blood you would most likely attribute it to all the women first before anything else lol

I also feel that their camaraderie is on point, their acting seems natural and it makes everything feel exactly how it should (the "We didn't think this was real but now it's stalking us" vibe that EMH has, but without the prank setup that EMH did).

@AssassinB:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I was thinking the same thing about it being attributed to mono first and the natural association and I thought "Hmmmm,foreshadowing?" and then the whole Slendy seeping in and finally "BAM!!"
I was put in mind of early EMH as well to some extent.I like the way these guys seem like real friends and even the last few entries when they are starting to maybe turn on each other to some extent,they manage to shore themselves up and find enough of their bond and trust foundation to tether to,but not have it feel unnatural or "sappy".

@amrith777

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Yeah I like how in their last entry that they uploaded and not their new proxy friend did they realistically portrayed what kind of seemed like a panic attack from all three at the same time, ultimately leading to a hard decision of abandoning families and households in order to keep Slendy from spreading, but something tells me this proxy is going to fuck with their families anyway just because they decided to be cheeky and get the idea to run off really early

@AssassinB

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Yeah.That's a sticky situation there.These guys are vulnerable,and want to do what's good and right (as have so many other Slender and Fear Mythos/Stalked by Eldritch Abominations folks in their respective series in the past,with good intentions).BUT -- We all know how that turns out in the end.

New Video!

my_farewell

YouTube: Link

Fourteen minutes of brilliance and emotion right here.That's all I can manage to say right now because I am still reeling.There are things to be deciphered also (audio),but I shall delve into that a bit later after I re-watch a few times.

On a side note:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
This was originally uploaded earlier and I got the Tweet and my YT alert that it was up on the sub,but when I went to view it,it was not there.
Probably just a tech glitch,but mentioning it just the same in case it proves to be significant.

Just started watching the first episode and I'm really enjoying it so far. Might be something worth continuing Smile

Favourite part so far that totally cracked me up: "Oh, wow wow wow. Looks like an island dude. I think you can scientifically classify that as an isl..oh ducks!"

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I also really liked the subtle EMH hint when they talked about how they both liked hiking and being film nerds, where one of them goes: "We're hybrids!" - that's quite nice I think. Not to mention the talk of habits a bit later on in the video.

I for some reason didn't really like the latest video. It was strangely worded, and kind of stupid in some parts. For example: Slenderman heals me from every awful form of torture, but surely I can kill myself with a razor? I mean, even if he wasn't being healed, the cut he made was way too small to make you bleed out without water. You'd have to drag a razor through the entire length of your forearm to actually do significant damage to yourself.

Logic and stuff aside, I didn't really see the purpose in the video either. It was kind of just a ramble, and it didn't seem to pertain to the story at all.

Come on knifeman use your slenderverse experience and think about this video further than the surface. Nothing is ever as it seems in a series, so I think this video is no different. He knew it wouldn't kill him, but he was trying anyway, I mean what else can you do when you've played all your cards with Slendy and he's brainwashing you 24/7 in a timeless realm? You either kill yourself (or at least try), or you give in and let him take the steering wheel.

As for order in videos, it is a bit strange, but I believe there is a reason this was the most recent upload, we just don't know it yet.

I understand what the video was, I just don't see how they had to have a fifteen minute dialogue on something easily explainable in a 5 minute video. I think a lot of it was not needed, mostly the really detailed explanations, which were 50% of the video. I guess it is important to know that he was taken, but the really dramatic morbid part wasn't really necessary. I guess that is what I meant. Also, I watched it right after the latest TribeTwelve video, so I guess in comparison it wasn't as good either.

But the length is everything, it shows how much turmoil he is going through in a realm with no meaning but suffering and madness. I mean for christs sake SM put his god damn hand on his head, imagine what that could do to someones psyche and physical health. And a lot of that dialogue brought up good questions, like who is the "her" that he refers to, how does he know the other guys are safe (or at least has a strong feeling and hopes they are), when is this taking place, we have no idea. And that's the glory of it. I believe we'll see why this video needed to be that long and explain all those details very soon.

EDIT: Also, the morbid self-harm part (Trigger warning btw for anyone who read this far without watching) displayed that this series Slendy has healing powers similar to the one in EMH or other series, he has the power to heal but not cause physical harm (in EMH that would be HABITs job), instead he lets the people he's fucking with cause their own harm. That's how I see it.

Well I'd been teetering on the edge for this one, it's well done, but nothing all that unique until that last video. I really like the bit of insight into what happens when someone is taken, and the emotions and stuff.
I'll be checking back on this
