Money is money. Especially with kids in college.

Woops, sorry. I'm still new to commenting here. The "money is money. Especially to kids in college." was me.

I think all of them except Tim have graduated, but don't quote me on that.

Entry 72 didn't work out for you?

It was doing pretty well until it just fucked off. I'm starting to wonder if maybe they're doing troll Entries.

We can't really judge the 72 appearance until the next entry/tweet when we know for certain whether there was any lasting effects from its attack. If it seems that Jay and Tim are just fine, then yeah, TO just leaving was a little lame (unless a good reason is given IG somehow), but we don't know for certain yet what it did and whether it had any effect. Possibly by the next Entry, it will become apparent that it actually did something and left only because it was done with them.

Also, last I checked, I think Troy was the only one who graduated, but that was a while ago, so it's possible that Joseph graduated as well by now.

Agreed. After Tim was taken with practically no effects whatsoever once he was recovered, I think it's pretty clear the Operator will kill you from old age by warping time before anything significant happens. On a side note, that's why the entries take so long. They film and edit them in a few days, but the operator makes that time pass so fast outside them that it takes 3 weeks.

I can do whatever I want. I'm tired of getting strung along between Operator attacks, under the promise that it's all going to work out in the end. No more. By now I have more than enough rational basis to assume that The Operator is virtually harmless, until proven otherwise.

Shocking abuse of authority. I like it.

It'd make a better TV series, in the same vein as "Lost".

I always thought Marble Hornets would have been a sweet mini series they play in between shows and advertisements since the entries arent that lenghty

Until you get to the last third of S1 and the entries get longer than commercial breaks Wink

I guess, but I don't think they would alienate their fans like that.

Tim and Joseph are both still in school. Troy is actually the only one who has graduated thus far.

Fair enough. I don't think they've done too bad a job with TO (not that I'd be against seeing some more stalking or some full display of his power, mind you), and I prefer to just assume that the reason they keep escaping is because TO needs them alive. But to each their own.

We're also way off topic... what thread was this again?

How is it hasty? They've been at it 4 years

When I said Hasty, I was not referring to time. I was referring to judgement. MH is a great web series and I have confidence that the guys who make it are good filmmakers. But simply hollywooding up an already great series isn't the best route IMO.

It's too early to be sure right now but I'm just worried that this might have a negative effect in MHs overall reputation is all.

It's not really going to be Hollywooded up though from what I've read (at least that's my take on it). It's fairly unknown and small people doing it (with the most "well known" person being the director and even at that nobody knows who he is), and who knows how long they've been in negotiations with for the movie; maybe it was going to be a TV series at first.
