I don't really think he has tentacles, but I do think that A) Hollywood may like him better if he's got some super fucked up physical characteristics besides "wears suit" and "doesn't move" and B) I'm pretty sure the MH Slendy doesn't have tentacles due to Trosephims S1 effects limitations and small budget. I mean if they are calling it Slendy and not TO then they might adjust canon mildly. If it was done right, it could be a really shocking moment, and I don't think Trosephim would fight it too hard.

But again, in the current canon, no tentacles.

Can we be sure he's wearing that suit and it's not "skin" that's "naturally" camouflaged to make him fit in better?

He's wearing a suit in that Frank the bunny rabbit kind of way. Why are you wearing that stupid man-suit?

Oh man...
I met Doug Jones at a convention earlier this year, and asked him about the Slender Man. He mentioned he was working on something.
Apparently, this was it.

Interesting that it's set in the same "universe". Sounds like all new characters. Maybe a prequel showing Tim's experience in the hospital?

I'd personally prefer if, while it's set in the same universe and contains common elements like TO (and perhaps the Ark, whatever that is) and maybe some of the same locations, it focuses on a brand new set of characters.

I really want to know how much input Trosephim really had, but it's good to see they're so excited about it. That doesn't guarantee it's good (authors can sometimes be blinded to the shitty quality of the movie based on their book, after all), but it gives me some hope.

While the movie won't be a continuation of the MH story line, does the fact that it is in the same universe mean the movie is technically cannon to MH mythos?

Totally fuckin awesome news! Doug Jones - win. Also, I think it would be pretty killer if it was a movie about the original '06 filming of Marble Hornets - as in the bad student film. Almost like a prequel.

I would assume it's all new characters, but I highly doubt it would be a prequel because Troy said it's not a continuation. To me, a prequel is very similar. I also doubt that it'd have many of the same locations as we all know some of the iconic places (like the hospital) were illegally filmed in anyways for MH. I wonder if Troy and company are going to have cameos in the movie.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
FUCKING DOUG JONES!!!!!! There were so many people speculating he was gonna be The Operator!!

Joseph I think it was stated in an interview that TO doesn't have tentacles due to a creative choice. Hopefully TO doesn't get messed up beyond canon because of what the studio wants. I'm not sure if Trosephim have considered this.
