Regarding who the characters will be, I suspect Trosephim will make at least a cameo. Maybe in the stinger (ushers everywhere must hate Iron Man for starting the trend) we'll see some unknown party coughTothearkcough filming Jay from afar while he talks to an acquaintance. The conversation causes Jay to remember that student film he did once. Distortion galore. Text reads: "Don't feel bad. You never had any choice from the beginning".

Also, Masky and Hoody can be played by different actors no problem, without needing to drag Tim and Brian* up for filming. I'm kind of expecting one or both of them to be somewhat significant.

Shouldn't get chewed out, Brian is probably the most popular candidate.

Masky *can* be played by a different actor but it would require him to wear a hood or something or be able to convincingly replicate Tim's sideburns and hairstyle.

And I really don't think it's going to tie in as directly as so many people here seem to believe- you could make a movie about 2006 or Tim's childhood, but those would be rather incomplete, storywise, because it's unlikely they'd be able to give a satisfactory resolution for the stand-alone movie when the true resolution is in the series. I think there's going to be some connections, but it'll probably be made so the movie can be watched without seeing the series, because the fans of the series alone probably won't be enough sales for a full-blown theatrical film.

So it's going to probably be about brand new characters. TO will obviously feature and TTA *might* be able to prominently feature depending on what his story is revealed to be in the series, but Jay, Alex, and Tim would be cameos at best. And I doubt Masky could be significant to the movie- his story seems a little too tied to the main series' story arc.

My guess is, it's about some other victims of TO from the past, from before Alex and Tim, or, if TO isn't beaten for good at the end of the series (and I doubt he will be), it'll be about his next set of victims.

One question: is the movie going to actually be called Marble Hornets? If so, then I suspect that at least some reference will be made to the student film, or to the videos Jay has been uploading, so that the audience will get the title. I'm also thinking different characters, but a Totheark appearance (as Joker said, Masky would be somewhat difficult, but Hoody could be done, as some on the forum mentioned that the actual actor has been filled in for at times) would help tie the movie into the universe of Marble Hornets. Possibly this could be in between the events of the student film and the series proper? It could explain what the Operator was up to during this time. Also, it could (indirectly since you can't use the original actors all that much) give some insight into what Totheark was up to.

We don't yet know for certain what the title will be, and I think it probably shouldn't be MH just because the title has little enough to do with the main series as it is. The period between 2006 and 2009 could certainly be interesting, though.
