I just don't understand why it looked like it was for a videogame with the graphics it had.

We want some actually realistic looking distortion for a teaser, jesus man.

And the ending title is just laughable.

News about the movie are underwhelming, but isn't that ironically fitting?
I remember spending whole days thinking about the possible solutions to the story of Marble Hornets, questioning EVERYTHING: totheark's real addressee, "Masky Jay", Tim's memory, even the unreliable narrator thing. I mean, they could go SO many exciting, mystic, dark ways with the plot and its implementation. I still liked the ending, but any one at that point would feel to me like... this movie does now.

I have to admit that I'm rather disappointed that teaser is the most we've been shown.

We need to see a trailer. I'm starting to wonder if the film isn't going as well as they've been claiming.

With Halloween 2014 come and gone, I'm not sure how they're going to sell tickets to this thing. If it doesn't come out until Halloween 2015, no one will even give a shit about Slendy anymore (as unfortunate as that is to me personally). Its not a Christmas movie, its not a summer blockbuster, it isn't gonna fly in spring when most of the films are romantic comedies. I just don't know.

I will never give up hope, because I love this show, this idea, this monster, and Trosephim so much. But they really need to give us something to go on. I mean, someone else already said it... spread the word? About fucking what? A trailer that looks like I made it myself in MSPaint? Like, for real, throw us a freakin' bone here.

It's going to wind up in the horror movie dump we get every year between award season nominations and the awards presentations (i.e. January and February). And there it will wallow with the other "10% on Rotten Tomatoes" junk and be just as easily forgotten by the public at large.

I have to admit, it's somewhat disconcerting that Doug only answered one question relating to The Operator, and only inasmuch as to direct it back to his new movies. I know that actors and musicians use AMAs to promote their projects, but this is a project he's supposedly working on, and he just kind of...didn't have much to say. Sad, really.

I had had more hope for this before. I should have come back sooner.

I guess it's low profile considering not much updates from Trosephim.

Dug out my account to see what was going on with this movie after being reminded by my DVD set. Not surprised there's nothing but a few "I promise it's happening guys!" and a windows movie maker teaser... This production has been a rollercoaster, constantly going from "it's going to be awful" to "hey, maybe it will be good!" then back to "well, there go all my hopes".

Maybe try advertising your movie, maybe then it will go somewhere?
