Still need to send in my resume to them, might just include my past volunteer experience since that's the most relevant anyway Might throw in there that I'm interested in New Age or classic literature (don't wanna jump right in and say anything about Lovecraft )

Personally I wouldn't mention Lovecraft. Think of it this way, it is highly possible in this world Lovecraft doesn't exist, but his mythology might be real. Lovecraft might be a 4th wall sort of thing. Kind of like how in The Walking Dead, the concept of Zombies never existed, not in books, not in movies - but suddenly the mythology from *our* world is real, there they are in that universe.
Instead I would be sly and somehow work some of the mythology in.

Weeeell... I did get a message over Twitter from Joe Palmer!
I asked him about his brother, the one in the hospital, and got back:
Quote:
@zobot257 Bro's a senior. he's mentioned on the school website- guess that's what happens when ur roommate's the webmaster!
Maybe his brother's the artist focused on at the website? It seems his illness might be game-related.
I think right now we need to ask a bit more from our two young twitter-users...

Good suggestion! I'll try to squeeze in something... maybe about being a research assistant to one of the professors!

New twitter popped up: https://twitter.com/Mia_Winters_4
Don't know if she's an IG character or just another player.

Replies to emails...

OYM,
Cult recruitment, at our school? I don't know where you heard that rumor
but it is most certainly false.
Mr. Gordon Lake was a well-respected and reputable administrator and
member of the Innsbruck community in his time. He did not go galavanting
to the south pole or out recruiting people into some kind of cult. He
worked to better this school until the day of his disappearance, which was
planned enough that he took all of his personal effects and his family
with him. So no, he did not go on some ridiculous adventure novel escapade
and he has nothing to do with cults!
~Alessandra
Hit a nerve there me thinks...and gave her first name (Alessandra (al-ess-sahn'-drah) is a female given name of Greek origin, meaning defender of men.)
ETA: What was Gordon afraid of that took his entire family with him, disappeared and planned don't really go together very well.

OYM,
I apologize for my earlier email. Please disregard it. I simply do not
want Innsbruck's reputation to be harmed by false rumors.
I will look into acquiring more information on Samantha Grey's lecture for
you. She is a renowned anthropologist and psychologist who has been
studying societal perspectives through literature and analyzing the
effects of religion and war on certain influential individuals.

"certain influential individuals." - I wonder who?

I've seen similar concerns raised before, but I've also seen what happens
when students who are not disciplined with their time attend Innsbruck,
and the addictive nature of Facebook and certain other sites do not mix
well with the high work load and community service that Innsbruck
advocates. They have plenty of creative outlets here at school--we more
than compensate for the loss of these social media.
TMB
I must ask why they have a facebook page if they ban its use.

Back on the 10th a package ended up on Phoebe's doorstep.

If I had to guess, this must be a seafaring idol to Dagon? He was an ancient mesopotamian fertility god often associated with the ocean?

Yes it is a nice piece, oh and technically it is spelt Cthulhu I assume however you mistyped as I often do.
Although I think it looks more octopus that Cthulhu, excerpt below:
Quote:
but with an octopus-like head whose face was a mass of feelers, a scaly, rubbery-looking body, prodigious claws on hind and fore feet, and long, narrow wings behind. This thing, which seemed instinct with a fearsome and unnatural malignancy, was of a somewhat bloated corpulence, and squatted evilly on a rectangular block or pedestal covered with undecipherable characters. The tips of the wings touched the back edge of the block, the seat occupied the centre, whilst the long, curved claws of the doubled-up, crouching hind legs gripped the front edge and extended a quarter of the way clown toward the bottom of the pedestal. The cephalopod head was bent forward, so that the ends of the facial feelers brushed the backs of huge fore paws which clasped the croucher's elevated knees.
Not quite as described, no wings in evidence or knees for that matter. Maybe distance cousin of the great C.
Innsbruck Academy seems to have gone quiet, haven't had an email from them in ages.

Sent a message to Phoebe Anders asking her whether she has access to the Library's Archives.
Worth a shot in the dark.

May not even be important, but I noticed there is also a blog@ email address. It is mentioned in the student spotlight as "blog at IA.org" so no surprise it was overlooked.

Geoff Palmer left a voice message saying that he was living in Bethel now and wanted a break from school. According to Joe his phone is dead or he just doesn't pick it up.
I've suggested that he txt Geoff the following message:
"I like the new sculpture you've just done"
He is going to give it a shot, any artist loves to talk about their work.

Any news on this? I saw that some of the characters have tweeted more.
Has anyone got any emails or anything interesting?
