2. Who was second bed?

And who knocked at the beginning?

Honestly, this.
I feel like this entry offered a lot more than it did, and that, since it was so "simple" and "uneventful" on the surface, not much else was really thought *too hard* about what certain details could mean.

I know someone else mentioned the two beds thing a few pages back; Both are unmade, and Tim JUST found out what room Jay was staying in on the phone. That means that someone else must have been there, or at least it'd be possible, right?

The knock at the door during his phone conversation could solidify this; Someone else, someone that Jay hadn't been telling us (or Tim) about might have been bunking with Jay, for whatever reason. It could be subtle hinting to Jay's possible "secrets" or maybe even a "double-crossing-twist" that may occur in the future. The hints just seem too prominent to ignore, in my opinion.

I'unno, I think there's more being hinted to in this entry, that some of us are just sort of looking past because of the stuff on the surface.

I realize I could be wrong, I'm just CRAZYTHEORIZINGYAY.

I didn't hear the knocking the first time but yeah there is definitely someone knocking on the door/window while Jay is on the phone with Tim. Jay even acknowledges it by looking at his right to the door/window.

I smell a TTA video coming up with footage shot from the window.

It'd be interesting if Jay was working with Hoody behind Tim's back. Entry #67 did have him/her scream harder than ever "I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU I JUST WON'T SAY IT OUTRIGHT". But chances are if Jay suggested working with Hoody at this stage, Tim would refuse. It'd make a neat little twist, rather than the more obvious route of Jay and Tim realising super-gradually that Hoody's after the same thing as them. Of course if they are in cahoots, Jay's probably going to regret it once he gets a psycho split-personality or something.

Is there a figure behind the fence at 3:18? At the corner of the building... Totheark? Alex? The operator?

EDIT: What about if Jay is heading back to the hotel from Entry #52? Jessica's safe was still locked when he left there, so maybe the hotel staff emptied it and have the contents behind the desk as lost property. At first I thought that would be a stupid idea to go back since everyone knows where it is, but in reality only Jay, Jessica, Tim (as Masky) and the operator showed up. Alex was (hopefully) never there and doesn't know where it was. If Jay knows Jessica's full name and when they stayed there it's too much of a stretch that he could get his hands on the contents of her safe. Who knows, it could be more tapes. It could be something left by Masky.

(I'd better shut up now. Alex may be watching this thread...)

I don't hear a knock during the phone conversation. Sounds like random outside noise to me.

The two beds doesn't necessarily mean anything. For all we know, it's all the motel had, or he just wanted room to spread out tapes. The bed itself doesn't even look slept in to me--it looks like he flipped the covers up to look for something beneath the bed, like socks or masked men--but I'm a master untidier, so take that with a grain of salt.

Possibilities, sure. Big honking clues, probably not.

I've definitely slept in both beds at a hotel before. There's just something about sliding into a perfectly made bed with sheets that I can pretend no one has slept in.

Though I think it's likely Jay was sleeping in the bed towards the window, then got feelings of being watched so he moved to the other bed. I'm not sure if anyone else is like this but I like a solid wall behind my back, and being able to face the entrance to my room when I'm scared.

I'm thinking Jay probably just slept in both beds at one point too. If Jay was secretly rooming with Hoodie or someone else that he wanted to keep secret from Tim/the viewers I'd think he would have made the other bed or cut it out of the entry. Probably one night when he was having trouble sleeping he tried moving to the other bed.

EDIT: Now I'm not so sure. I just rewatched the entry and you really can hear two little thumps that sound like knocking while Jay is on the phone, and when it happens he quickly looks towards the door. And then after he gets off the phone he immediately gets up and turns off the camera, and when it turns on again the light is back on and the camera is facing the wall. Curiouser and curiouser.

Due to it being a .5 entry, I was not disappointed. At least it gives viewers that don't know about the Twitter account a sense of what is going on.

I'm now very excited for the next entry, and the next TTA, whenever it's coming.

Speaking of which, Totheark has been very quiet these past couple of months, ever since #65. I wonder what's up...

I find it interesting that Tim has the chest camera and he's going to follow Jay. I really hope there is some kind of epic car chase scene where they're driving and Alex with no eyes pulls up beside them in a different car with oppy riding shotgun. Then hoody appears in Tim's car, and all of a sudden masky jumps on top of alex's car, and Jay is just freaking out the entire time. Yeah, that would be awesome.

I'm glad that they had the sense to just leave. Of course, this probably won't help anything, because I'm expecting that with this false sense of hope, major stuff's gonna go down. They probably can't afford to go too far from where they were.
As Entry 67.5, I thought at first that it would be more of the tape, but it works better as a half-entry anyway.

Jay probably gets rooms with two beds because nobody would think to look for him there. If I were Alex or TTA, I'd assume that since Jay sleeps alone, he would be staying in one-bed hotel rooms, and I would narrow my search accordingly.

And now that Alex and Hoody most likely saw this video, Jay would have to change that strategy to the 1-bed room.

What's the thing Jay looks at on the TV? Something keeps fading in and out, as I tried to show here:

From the original version of the image it seems to me that there's a mask on the top left of the screen, which might be superimposed over the image, which in turn could imply that this is uncovered from hoody's tape shown in the last entry.

It could be someone/thing showing itself on one of Jay's recordings. A bit too much of a farfetched idea I got was that it's footage of himself dissapearing in that room (the bright bit could be light through the curtains, the bottom's texture could hint at the sheets of the beds), that Jay found this and that he wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible again.

Still, I wonder what it really is.
