Request for a relevant details sticky for casual fans Hi, I have been a fan of this series going back to the first season, and check every month or so to watch the updates.
I have noticed on this board discussions about subtle elements in the video the community has discovered that are probably relevant to the overall plot, but that a casual fan might forget/not notice.
Is there a thread, or could there be a thread, where important but non-obvious things that the hardcore fans have consensus on are listed? For example, something in a totheark video that was actually decoded, or something significant from an older entry that ties into a newer entry (I was just reading about the bullet casing that was found in Alex's abandoned house, which I had totally forgot about).
Secondly, are people sure that the story is as tightly plotted as this, or in other words, that the creators actually remember all these details and that they are all relevant?

Check out the wiki - http://marblehornets.wikidot.com/
It's got a summary of all of the episodes, gives a timeline for all MH-type interaction (MH channel, totheark channel, and Jay's twitter), and a section for theories/speculations.

Re: Request for a relevant details sticky for casual fans They seem to keep pretty good continuity with things. I like the idea of this, I will definitely be a major contributer. I say we set up a wiki page for it.
Some things to start with:
- In one of the TTA videos, "He is looking for you" -> "Alex is looking for you" very subtly.
- The operator symbol on the hotel room safe code found in Jessica's room
- Jay's knife gets taken by Masky in entry 18. Masky uses the same knife on Alex in entry 35. Jay takes it back and looks it over in his car.
- The Operator outside of the window after Alex checks the office in entry 11
- Hoody sitting under the tree in entry 42
- In entry 45's ending, on Alex's camera, there's a still image of the operator that was captured by Jay's camera in entry 40.
- Masky limps away in entry 45, still injured
- Masky in the window of the room Alex pulls a gun on Jay and Jessica in just as they're coming up the path to the building

They do remember all the details. When they are writing new entries, they do often run into thing that would conflict with information from older entries, especially season one stuff. They talked about this at their Q&A panel back at GMX in October, that the way they did season one is a huge problem with how they are trying to resolve and conclude the series now.

What about it? We see a few water bottles in the series and none hold any signifiance. Ever have a sore throat and start coughing and want some water? That's what the slender sickness causes

But water is a common theme of tta

Water is most likely used by TTA because of the Operator's ability to drown victims. This is very significant and possibly ties in with a lot of the series, such as the coughing.

When he refers to water, I think he could be referring to what happened in entry 65, where The Operator submerged Tim underwater twice. Broadcast has the description "Are you drowning"
I think water bottles are just something that's common to ppl with the sickness because their throats get scratchy from coughing so much.

If you want nearly all the info in one place I've put together this page .
It contains:
All the videos from both channels in order
The twitter feed
The fan-made map of locations
Links to all the important pages (youtube and twitter accounts, DVD store etc)
Links to the wikidot and unfiction threads for each video
Summaries of the entry (disabled by default, click "Toggle spoilers" to turn them on)
A function to make a playlist based on which characters are present, chronological vs release order, which channels to include, and operator sightings
The videos autoplay, so you can press play to play the whole series and then go into full screen mode. (The page itself needs to capture the key strokes for this to work. If you click on the youtube player itself then it captures the key strokes instead and it might not work.)
Links to some fun stuff at the bottom, for lulz.
It might not work on all browsers, but it works fine on Firefox, Chrome and Safari. If there's something that's seriously broken or wrong, please let me know. Please note I can only fix bugs in the browsers listed above. I don't care if you disagree on the chronological order of entries - we'll never know the exact order, so I mostly took this from the wiki.

There's an entry that the image freezes as soon as Tim starts drinking from his water bottle. The same water bottle caused distortion on Jay's camera when he went investigate into Brian's house and opened something like a wardrobe. When he got back into the house he even touched it and started coughing like crazy, he even fell.
That water bottle symbolizes water. Water is a relevant detail and the user asked for relevant details.

Man, whatever happened to the water themes making people break down and cough like that? They've barely touched on anything like that in the last dozen videos. Was it going anywhere? Was it just a random nugget of creepy coincidence?

Tim was dragged under water in Entry 65 and coughing the whole time, Jay was coughing at the beginning of Entry 67.5...
