 		But will there be a sequel?
When "Marble Hornets" is over, who, if anyone, will carry the torch?
I've been thinking about this a lot, lately, with Marble Hornets in what is supposedly its final season. But what if when the show's over, it has an open ending that lets someone else carry the torch in the flight from and perusal of the Operator and his minions? What what might be called? Marble Hornets: The Next Generation?

 		I'm fairly certain Troy has stated on his blog that season three will be the end of Marble Hornets, and there won't be a sequel series.

 		I thought some time ago Troy & Co. said they were going to do a comedy series afterward. I may be misremembering.

 		And then after (or during) the comedy series, if they have as many Google Docs of ideas as they say they do, they'll probably return to the horror genre. And who knows, maybe they'll create an entity even more terrifying than the Operator?

Maybe I phrased that wrong, I know they didn't create the Operator, I'm just wondering if they do decide to create their own entity, if it will prove to be even scarier than the Operator.

What I'm saying is, after the main series is finished, presumably after Season 3 ends (but then again, they thought Season 2 was going to be the end, too) what if new characters, a new crew and new cast took over the Marble Hornets canon universe and were all-new victims of the Operator and his proxies? Like, Trosephim would still probably be the executive producers, while they're busy on their comedy show-- but it would be a whole new cast and story set in the same canon as the original series.
