I think the audio in Regards sounds more like something when sped up even more:

That's 8x. Anyway, it's just one second so I really doubt it's possible to identify the song or whatever it is. But I think that's the right speed.

definitely, sounds kinda like a jingle from an old game or something. But that's probably just do to the shortness and slight distortion.

First at all: Thank you so much for creating this thread! I think it is a great opportunity for all of us that have not been in UF from the beginning, and also we can rewatch old videos with new perspective.

Regards has always been one more mysterious TTA's videos for me (not scary, mysterious), because the only thing I could see was that "tower shape" but anything else, but I think the morse code theory is great! I think "Is my tape reversed?" makes a lot of sense, being the first TTA's video.

Wow guys, to be honest I actually didn't have much confidence in my own theory. Laughing
Do you really think it could be the correct decoding?

It fits so well, I'm almost positive.

Thank you all for the overwhelmingly positive response so far! I'm so glad people are actually participating, and can't wait to see what else gets uncovered that we missed the first go-around.

To be fair at this point he was probably getting mind raped almost nightly, if not already taken over by/allied with/eaten by the operator. That would make me a bit touchy.

We can not be 100% sure, but I think it might be the correct decoding Very Happy

This is going to be fun!

Entry #1: The way the operator snaps his head to face Alex suggests to me that rather than noticing Alex, he can see what the camera sees and saw himself. I don't think that it fits in much with the later entries, but it does fill me with a sense of paranoia and queasiness for the first entry.

Entry #3: Either Jay can't count, or he omitted some tapes. The first scene hardly frames Alex at all, so Alex must have been looking for visual tearing rather than anything else obviously useful. (So Alex noticed the tearing as a sign of the operator all the way back in 2006.)

Entry #4: The operator moves like a human, even if it is very fast. Maybe it's trying to trick Alex into thinking it's just a fast human. Later on it teleports on camera and doesn't even try to hide this.

Entry #5: Jay omments on how "secluded" the gazebo is. A very odd choice of words, and a polite of way of saying "Something really bad could happen hear and nobody would ever know." Alex doesn't yet seem to have a firm idea of the plot of Marble Hornets. Either it's a very poorly run production, or he's not in it to make a movie. (OOG spoiler:)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
This is the only location we've not found on Google/Bing maps, right? I don't know why, but this bothers me slightly.

Entry #7: The operator teleports out of view and then moves into the middle of the frame. Sneaky thing.

Entry #8: This is as good an entry as any to ask this: Why the heck does Alex draw anything at all?! This is probably the one thing in the series that truly bothers and confuses me and that I can't seem to work out. It's not as if what he writes is for anyone else to read, and I don't see how it helps him to write these things down. I can't see any kind of incentive for him to make pictures like this, let alone make a wall of crazy of them. What am I missing?

Entry #9: The camera moves and the light levels change when Seth starts rolling again. Why move the camera by such a small amount? Did something interrupt them?

Entry 5 OOG:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
yup, only location not found. Which is saying something because Elkapo is ridiculously good at finding locations. Though this could be because it's under tree cover, so you can't see it from satellite.

I'm also glad someone else mentioned the sketchiness of the marble hornets film as a whole. The only reason I don't think it was created specifically to Operate the cast, was because Alex didn't seem to be effected by the operator until after filming started. This could also be explained OOG:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They had mentioned that it being an absolutely terrible student film was kind've an inside joke

Entry 8, I thought he draws as kind've a therapy. Just to get the ideas out of his head and onto paper. Perhaps to remind himself what's going on after he blacks out. So he wakes up, sees all the pictures and immediately remembers what he's being stalked by.

Entry 9, Maybe the light level changed because there were different shadows being cast or something like that? The slight movement just could be the camera stand not being grade A material and getting jostled, after all he did have to press the power button twice.

I always thought the drawings were to symbolize Alex's mind breaking and him going crazy

entry 8: The most interesting thing to me in this one, is that one of the pages says "speaks to me". I don't think any of the other characters in the series have ever mentioned the operator speaking in any way, shape or form. Screenshot from original thread. Maybe the operator is just interested in Alex because he can talk with him? That may explain why he's special and appears to work for the operator later on. Here's another one with a page where we never figured out what it said. Also the first sighting of the operator symbol can be seen here, depicting the heads on the slenderman drawings.

The idea that TO can speak to Alex both creeps me out and explains quite a bit. Considering last week's tweets, I can now say I believe that certain people can act as Proxies for TO. TO can communicate with only these people and tries to inhabit and/or manipulate their bodies in order to communicate with the world.
Or conversely, TO can do this to everyone except a select few, Jay being one of these few.

Honestly, my first observation is, "Why is the Introduction so unnecessarily creepy?" For some reason, Jay seems to see it fit to give us these eery pan shots of empty industrial scenery with nothing but a constant, disturbing hum as background noise.

Poor Jay. How boring must it have been to watch Alex's daily routine for hours on end?

If the "sacrifice" theory is true, it was not always the case, as Alex opts to flee from The Operator in Entry 7, when he could have given Brian & unidentified chick to it or driven them somewhere to do so.

Maybe because at this point it hasn't started manipulating him yet and he's terrified of it and just wants to leave?

Does it teleport between the tree? I can't actually see where it teleports to. I Always assumed it just teleported away.

The only time I can see it is when it's leaning out from behind the building when Alex sees it and drives off. Is there another time it shows up?
