The original emails, like the ones with the DSM codes, were signed off Joseph B, weren't they? Then it changed to being from Jon B, and the tone changed? I don't have time right now to go back and check, I'm just throwing it out there now for discussion and I'll look it all up later - but if I remember correctly, Joseph sent us some emails, with coded messages behind them (as if he had to get something past someone watching what he did - Pattern?) then the tone of his messages changed and he started signing off as Jon? I think what he's saying is that's a sign of who/which messages to trust.
My theory right now, though I still need to go back and check it when I have time: Jon is someone else, possibly Pattern, who took over Joseph's email to give us false info and maybe lure us off the trail, and then Joseph's only way of messaging us was to send codes as and when he could get back into his hijacked account.

This is big. Wow.
Just to clarify - both Alex and 'A Friend' are me (different accounts so they wouldn't get suspicious), and Jon's request for emails happened while I was at work, so I didn't answer for a while, which is why he was concerned about time. Worked out well though, it means we got his three part message AND the deadmans.
Where should we go from here? Nothing too risky I guess, don't want to break cover... Were there any other emails in the account? Anything in junk or trash that hasn't been deleted properly? This could have some great info.

So we try and get info from them by making them think they're gaining our trust (although it could easily just be made up to make Pattern look innocent, bare in mind people could bias anything) and try and think of messages to send as Jon to get info, but without making it clear we have the account? Well, Amalie has the account.

Also, Karen/Fray is finally going to find out about this. Since we know most, and it's so complex, we're invited to help break it to her: on this chatroom on Monday, 6pm their time.

the video is of dark0 is it not ? he talks of braking into the scraps head quarters with someone called the fox (miss fox), the fox made it out with a box (with just a clipped wing), but darko was caught, the fox needs to return the journal or "the rabbit will be left to the hounds". looks like dark0s real name is peter couldnt catch his last name sounds like long or low or somthing.

I'm pretty sure it's at midnight here njberry. Wish I could make it, make sure to keep everyone on our side yeah? Dark0's already uncomfortable sharing stuff with us (might not be an issue for much longer though...), we have to keep everyone happy to all options open.

I'll probably be up, internet's getting switched off at 11 today though, for... Something. Not too sure.
Karen doesn't know anything about her dad yet, so that'll be important. I told Nicole her dad was a) still around and cared for her, never wanted to give her up, and b) probably dead, and she didn't know how to break it to Karen/Fray. So she needs to know that.
Explain what we know about Pattern and Jon B, Joseph's messages from Jon's account, and how we got it so she knows we're on her side. Break the news about her dad to her, but obviously that's going to be pretty hard-hitting news. Hell, she might even leave shortly after finding out, so idk if that should go at the end - play it by ear maybe? Amalie's suggestions too.
I think Lockwood is an important factor, it was practically Joseph's dying wish for us to find out about him. There's something big there.

By the way, has Jon B's account been used yet, out of interest?
