I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume I'm using the wrong decoder (I'm actually using the updated DMS-IV), and that we there were two more, unreported emails around 8:46 decoding to "h" and "e", bringing us to this:

"They told us to stop looking."

So assuming that Joseph B. is actually Karen's father, whose side is he on? Who/what is Lockwood? And what does it have to do with Lochwood Park? Anyone here live in Dallas?

Given his secrecy, I'd think its safe to assume he isn't with the Pattern. And I say that because Karen's pursuers are already watching Nicole. A missing poster would have been an extraneous source of information that they wouldn't need, given their man power.

Truth.

Nicole just sent me another message. She wants explanations. I tried to give her explanations. Hopefully she'll write back. She seems concerned with the "we" I mentioned. I guess that's fair, especially since there is side-picking to be done. I tried to explain it though.

I think you should assume we won't all be on the same side. No due to inner conflicts, but because the best way for us to figure this one out is by keeping different allegiances.
So don't promise Nicole we are all on the same side. Promise her you will not share everything with everybody all the time.
