Played through the mission and this reminds me most of the Alternet Reality game, in that it's a pretty self contained site, with its own forums, point system and rankings, and it seems like there will be new modules/missions released periodically. Not sure if that actually answers the question of "is it an ARG or not." There are some not-very-ARG-like elements. For example- the Depot, which is like a store where you can spend credits on T-shirts or whatever. Doesn't make much sense in-game.

Either way, it's fun and well made. Gonna follow it for now. But I also don't care for using FB for ARGs (sorry, Strudel).

 		Actually (in my humble opinion) it's not that bad!

It's been well put together. It is a bit on the easy side - especially if you have the "Guided" option turned on - but I would say that if you're an ARG newbie this site is good place to "cut your teeth on", so to speak.

For me it fills a little gap. I'm hoping that more missions will be introduced shortly.

I'm with you there. I'm really hoping there will be something new introduced, because I'm really hoping I haven't done all the current missions yet; I want to keep playing!

 		Yup, may well be good and well made and fun, but that doesn't make it an ARG
(the conflation of web-based game of all sorts and alternate reality games is alive and kicking these days. *sigh*)

 		And yet it's posted in the "Now Playing" section of ARGNet, which for some reason I find really annoying.

I signed up because the entry page looked intriguing and went through the rigamarole only to be greeted with a highly annoying web-based game that keeps spamming me with reminders to "friend" people.

Sigh.

Turns out that friending 10 people earns you about 200 credits I think. What an easy way to earn credits.

As for the not-very-much-privacy policy, eh, I don't really mind. I didn't submit anything I wouldn't want someone to know. As long as they don't know EXACTLY who I am and where I live, then I don't mind their database holding some of my info.
