We are currently using #unfiction on irc.chat-solutions.org to chat about the Noah Boddy game.

If you need a web-based chat window, use either of the following, but remember to change the channel name to #unfiction:

 		browser-based chat not working for me
I am having problems with the java applet used at the above links. I also cannot get the Yahoo! chat applet to load. Any suggestions?

 		Promised catherwood I'd put up a temporary java applet that defaults to #unfiction and here it is: unfiction.com/chat. Unfortunately, this old client doesn't seem to work with IE6 or Moz1+. Time for me to download that JDK I guess. Razz

Unfortunately, this is the client which all the links seem to use, and which does not work in my IE 5.0 either. The message in the status bar says "Applet not initialized", but it gives me no clue as to how to remedy it. Is this also the same client used on the Yahoo! groups for their chat? I get another error message there, which tells me to go to Microsoft and upgrade something, but the given link to MS doesn't work and I don't know what piece to look for at the MS site on my own.

Ah well, thank goodness Netscape runs this plugin just fine.
