 		It's more likely that Alex got Jay and totheark involved, and Tim got Alex involved.

If the whole watching tapes summons the operator theory is correct, Jay would have ran into him way earlier than in totheark's "return."

Something else I just realized: if Alex tried to have Jay sacrificed in entry 40, then he wasn't genuine about getting Jay's help like I had thought. Although it's weird that he stopped after putting Jay in the hotel, at least for a few months (since entry 45 presumably takes place a few months after)

Upon watching MarbleHornets, Troy will receive a tweet. He will then dispatch one of his many cronies out to YOUR house, and they will study YOUR EXACT BEHAVIOR PATTERNS. After that, they'll begin to systematically stalk you, dressed as Slenderman. They will also have their choice of a friend who can play as Masky, who will chase you away when you get too close, or at other random intervals.

It's simply brilliant.

On a more serious note, I'm ecstatic about this entry. I, along with many others, once theorized that Alex carefully picked which tapes he gave Jay. Once I saw the first burned tape, I couldn't help but smile a bunch. Sure, it's yet another MORE MACGUFFIN TAPES deal, but it seems to add a lot more to the plot this time.

Here's hoping we get an explosive finale to MarbleHornets, after that footage is salvaged... No, like seriously. I want Michael Bay directing the finale. It would be fantastic.


Oh good...that is all it is. Phew. So I can go outside and say hello to the tall man in the suit? I think I see side burns, probably just Tim dressed up, right?

The other day I was thinking, "why did Alex suddenly have problems again shortly after Jay started investigating?" This was actually a popular theory at the time. IIRC, everyone pretty much agreed that TTA planted the camera there, and in fact if you watch the video, the cameraman starts at the closet, then films outside a little bit, then we see them back at the closet. Some people consider this to be Amy's starting point, meaning TTA was the one filming out the window. The problem with this is Amy watched a little bit of the tape, meaning she would have had to watch the footage of someone walking around her house without mentioning it or being bothered by it.

 		To jump in here, what if the person who was filming in her house was someone she knew, aka TTA without his mask? However, I think she would have said something to Alex about it if that was the case.

 		Maybe she just figured that Alex or Jessica had been filming with it before her. I think I need to go rewatch entry 26 now.

Edit: Eh, the first person apparently turns the camera off at 4:01 and then Amy turns it on again at 4:03, only two minutes later. Not sure how likely it is that Amy would have found it within two minutes of TTA putting it in the closet, though the first person sure is acting weird.

Also, this entry made me remember that Jay was actually going to quit. He wasn't going to upload any more entries. If Alex hadn't sent him that tape, things might've gone back to normal.

 		If my memory is still good, there is that "water distortion" in the footage of the house before the second person (Amy) picks it up. This distortion is caused by Hoody and Tim only, so it implies it must have been used by one of these characters inside Alex's house.

I thought you were talking about Jay's intent to quit after entry 23, my bad. He said at that time as well that he didn't want to do this anymore.
