In contrast, nothing seems amiss in the e-mails Mark sends me. Although, what's this about a geocities site?

I told him that I couldn't find information on the Stalwart Culvert. I asked him how he came by the position of CEO. I also wondered if I could traverse his facility's culverts for extra research of my paper. I think that is all you need to know to understand his e-mail:

Quote:
Dear S.P.I.

Really? The Stalwart Culvert used to be a fairly popular wastewater discussion geocities-site. Maybe it is time someone took up the mantle..?

Indeed, life as a Wastewater CEO is like a rollercoaster, or maybe rather a drain tunnel, with it's ups and downs and side tunnels. My, it almost makes me nostalgic. And yes, it does take more than a fair bit of skill, both in terms of the practical and the managerial, if I might say so myself. Years of experience and more than a little study on the subject is key!

Sadly, the Southwest Culvert, which I presume is the one you are referring to, has been closed to the public since 1993. However, there are a great number of underground drainage complexes across our fair nation! If you would like to, I could recommend you to some other companies for tours of their facilities.
Even if it almost makes me a little sad that you will not get to see one as fabulous as ours.

Mark Marcusson, CEO and wastewater enthusiast

I'm on my phone so I can't paste the email, but I think I pisssed Mark off Very Happy Basically he wrote couple of times in caps that he doesn't know anything about Graham. Also, Jacob is dead and...um... I can't remember anything else relevant. But he didn't bother to sign his email, so I took it that he wasn't happy about my email.

This is all getting a bit weird, denying knowing Graham or anything about him to some of us... and confirming he does know of him to others.

we sure we are all mailing the same address? Razz

EDIT: another blog post by Tom... and its rather weird

Marc's Emails

Have a few emails all in row from Marc:

Quote:
Don't contact me again.

Quote:
And that image is blatantly fabricated! Anyone can clearly see that text does not exist on the website and there is no way to prove it ever has. And it has not.

And if you people know so much about Graham, how come you can't figure out how old he was when he was fired?

Quote:
Forget that last message. Graham Patrick Maxwell never worked for Wastewater South. It was a simple clerical error.

Mark Marcusson, CEO Wastewater South

Why do I get the feeling that more than one person is sending these emails?!?

That email on Tom's blog looks like a code but my brain is currently on downtime, I'm sure Amandel will come to our rescue Wink

ETA: Maybe they are coordinates...

Bingo Seadevil; the -1 is a tip off.

If you add decimal places here: 50.898409, -1.408310

It's most likely pointing to this location:

Quote:
Herbert Walker Ave
Southampton SO14 32 ft N

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=50.898409,+-1.408310&hl=en&ll=50.898459,-1.406293&spn=0.015455,0.012274&sll=58.309489,-26.542969&sspn=26.703069,25.136719&t=m&z=15

Otherwise it points to somewhere in Ghana or in the middle of the Ocean!

Note what's on the signpost Wink

Someone should tell Tom to go there asap. And bring a small sacrifice.

It's your call. Maybe they left a package. Report back. If you're still alive that is...

Haha, yeah she is on route there now... she is bloody smart with these kinds of things too (she once helped the police crack a code, i guess i know where i get it from)

She is going to call me when she is outside of that blue doored hut

EDIT: okay so on first looks, there are a lot of waterboard signs up there -

To the left of the blue hut the first sign says:

SCWW
SV
8 12
15

The second says (the 1 looked like it was rubbing off)

SCWW
SV

(1)2

To the Right of the hut:

SCWW
SV

12

And

SCWW
SV
8 12
10

Now these ARE legit water board things, but you never know where clues are in ARGS Razz

I tried to get her to jump the fence and look behind the building for some kind of parcel but the spikes came up to her throat Razz so they are gonna have a quick drive around behind it ( there are spikes that side too) and see if they can spot anything

EDIT 2: "Tom is asking: do you think Marcusson left something there?" that usually means "he did" but we cant see anything :/ maybe is where graham has been hiding?

haha your poor mum. It could be a flash drive or a piece of scuffed up paper or something inconspicuous, literally anything. She'd have to check under things. Behind those water board signs maybe? Underneath the traffic cone if it's still there! Anything that looks suspicious is worth inspection.

Haha, she has looked all around it and the only thing that could be anything is a piece of black material.. she said she thought it looked like a ripped t shirt but ofc its too far back to get to it, she is gonna try to take a photo though.

The Hut itself is locked with a yale lock, however IT IS a old water company hut... so inside it is either another manhole cover thing leading into a water tunnel or water companyish things.

Maybe this is where Graham has been hiding or maybe this leads into a culvert?

Im grasping at straws because i honestly believed there would be something/someone there ... and the only people there are my poor parents walking up and down looking like idiots Razz

IF they have hidden something there, its either blown away (its right on the river, and it gets bloody windy here) or they have hidden it so well no one can get to it.

OR the water company numbers are significant.

EDIT: another tweet "What about wastewater related entities? Did the hut have any drain pipes?"

well it does, but the spiked fence is way too tall to get over the fence to look in them... even for my dad and he is 6 feet tall, he would hurt his gonads to get there

EDIT 2: okay so there is a small gap in the fence, but i wasnt gonna get my 61 year old father to crawl through that Razz ive put out a call to arms on my facebook and twitter, but other than that it will have to wait a few days til i can get there

im still trying to find someone to go and get behind the fence though...

EDIT: aha! i have 2 friends who will be passing it tomorrow, they arnt shy about squeezing through small gaps in fences. Success!

EDIT: SCWW stands for Southern county waste water
SV stands for stop valve.

Okay here's me singing the same tune but with a different voice (bad metaphor I know)

Graham's post:

Quote:
he knows a lot about Graham, and he doesn't knows anything at all. he knows a lot about Graham, and he doesn't knows anything at all. he knows a lot about Graham, and he doesn't knows anything at all. he knows a lot about Graham, and he doesn't knows anything at all.

Suggests that maybe Graham and Marc are perhaps the same person or that Marc knows Graham but he doesn't know anything about the real reason behind Graham's obsession with the Culvert.

Yep my brain definitely needs coffee!
