 		[Trailhead] Karen is Missing
A mysterious email and a missing poster...
Hey all! I don't often get a chance to start off a trailhead, but I had to post it when I got it! A little while ago, I got an email through Hushmail from wmfeltSPLAThushmail.com. And when I clicked on the link, it sent me to a puzzle:

"Well, he's gone." -Lashbrook

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Lashbrook was a doctor involved with the CIA and supposedly with the death of a scientist by the name of Frank Olsen. A phonecall placed around the time of his death had Lashbrook saying "Well, he's gone" and the person on the other end saying "That's too bad." That phrase is our password.


Once you get past that initial puzzle, you're taken straight to the email, which is the following:

_Ten: ready to attack. _

_And now one of these orphans has been trapped, the cat becoming the
rat in the trap. Gather the eighteen left standing, even if it's
against their wills. This must end now. Or god help us all. The
'children' will need your support, and as many others as you can
gather. Safety in numbers, traitors in numbers...the house of
suffering will try to turn to into one of them, one of their puppets.
Avoid the house of suffering's trickery as much as you can. But keep
in mind that they are watching. Careful what you reveal- locations
must stay hidden. If they find you you're dead._

_For now this is all I can tell you. I can only stand the memories
for so long before they overwhelm me. I will send more soon. And I
will keep eyes on all communication systems, as I always have. Contact

 		Super excited for this, just got up this morning to find the same email in my box!

I managed to get the password before logging on here and found the trailhead!

This looks really good I can't wait to get into it and start going when I am fully awake ( 6 in the morning here) I will start going over the images and looking through the report!!

I will be emailing the emails provided also. see what info we can get Smile

Been waiting for this one to start up Wink

I'll be lurking/playing when I can. From what I've been reading, this thing is going to get pretty big. Hired actors, mailed trailheads, videos with blood... I'm excited to play a part.

I'll spoiler these next parts too, even if there are no actual solves in it, in case any of you want to find stuff on your own. I'll remove the spoiler eventually, because it makes it so much harder to follow the story.

Based on the Tumbler account, my best guess is that she was found by the light pole at Garland Ranch Dallas TX.

The uncovered recording mentioned in the report should be the youtube clip. Whomever is inside Karens body should be L#007. The civilian should be Nicole Fira, as you can see her name through the black pen. Dead guy on the ground = Olsen. No news on WM Felt. I'm pretty sure he doesn't like Elvis, and that I'm the only one who'll see such a connection anyway.

So we have Pattern on one side and Karen on the other. Where does L#007 stand? And where does WM Felt stand?
At first glance, both seem to stand with Karen against Pattern. But then what's with the "one of these orphans has been trapped, the cat becoming the rat in the trap"? Seems to suggest Karen is already taken, somehow, doesn't it?

 		This looks very promising! Definitely will lurk/play this. Looks really interesting and I've been looking for a decent game that I don't have to spend hours catching up on, being in a different time zone to (almost) everyone means I have enough catching up to do haha

Not very conclusive, or I don't know how to interpret it. At least I was right about Elvis Smile

However, if mr Felt holds a "position" that shouldn't be "compromised", that suggests inside job.

i agree with the inside job, at the moment it is just a gut feeling, i am just back from other stuff so im gonna shoot some emails off now, will update when i get more info!

Not yet, i managed to get some skype credit today so i culd participate a little more what with being in scotland - but like you amalie, im not sure what to say just yet - since its specificaly asking for tips...

Unless we call and say oh we think this is what you should do next - since nicole is looking for suggestons?

Yeah. Though who posted that flyer? The Pattern or Nicole or someone else? And whose side are we on? Do we have a way of contacting Nicole besides her YT channel page? So many questions! But also so excited.
