Okay so I am cripto135 on twitter and higgins3g on you tube, I have be watching this thread for a few days but the when i tried to make a account it didn't send me a registration email.

Anyway take a look at this
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Operation-Hermes/113144118706500

does it look like something, it should
it looks like the cover of the book alice has
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BJOhfhLCIAE9qCu.jpg:large
couldn't get it to embed the pic sorry

also that phone number i am like 90% sure it doesn't go deeper you can get it to connect you to 2K by pressing 0 in the directory i think. It is a number they set up from one of their servers I think

Now that tape Alice has we need to find a way to read it I think it is something.
I am going to review the old ARG they did for xcom IE operation hermes see if there is anything we should look out for

Since it seems there are a number of people here who weren't around for the first two incarnations of this game, I do have a Guide that has 95% of the information that was original available. I will also be updating it to include information from this game (just note that I am slow at doing this).

The Guide is located at http://wonderweasels.org/hermes/guide.html

The current campaign information will be starting on Page 5: http://wonderweasels.org/hermes/guide5.html

Not sure if this matters much (doubtful) but the map of Rosemont, GA appears to be a modified version of Eastman, GA.

good find Adm! defiantly the same map, but the street names and landmarks don't match (ex: a church where Rinaldos should be, a house where police dept. should be) but I'd say it may be worth checking out the marked spots if anyone is remotely near there.

I can go to Eastman on Monday

Not sure I can persuade my wife to spend Sunday in Eastman but I could probably swing by there on my way home from work Monday afternoon / evening. Let's see how Alice responds to the tweet that Adm_BlackCat / Yankee White sent first before I go taking pictures of a bank and asking about aliens! Smile

I could not make it to Eastman yesterday but I did receive confirmation from Onkel Jo that #7 is BRAVO. I have still been unable to locate #6 but we can make better guesses now.

Hello, I'm new to ARG's and this one seems pretty interesting. Anyone have a tip what I could do?

Welcome aboard! Right now, the focus seems to be on three things:

1) Several people have received packages with mysterious documents and objects. Amongst these are folders containing after-action reports from an incident in Pima, New Mexico; the labels on the folders seem to be parts of a message.

We have the labels from folders 1-5 and 7-9; taken together, these folders form the following phrases:

* Folders 1-5: www.erasethetruth.com Security Access Code Alpha
* Folders 7-9: Bravo Clearance Granted

We need the word from folder #6 to complete the security access code; maybe appending that to the URL (e.g.: www.erasethetruth.com/alpha[Word from folder #6]bravo) will yield hidden information.

2) Alice Chulski, who has been tweeting about some odd stuff her late grandmother had in a trunk - a trunk which had travel stickers from Pima, NM and Rosemont, GA (there was a map of Rosemont, GA included amongst the documents in the packages that people received).

Amongst the things she found in the trunk were: a lighter with the words ERADITE VERUM engraved upon it, a book from the Internal Defense Directorate with all its pages ripped out, and a set of three Dictaphone belts.

The mystery here is twofold: what did Alice's grandmother have to do with the Internal Defense Directorate, and what's on those Dictaphone belts?

I've looked at the picture of the desk full of newspaper clippings and the folder, is there any program to get a higher definition? Maybe there is something in those newspapers that can't be seen at normal resolution.

Is it possible that the security code has to be said when calling that number?

Thats not a bad idea, i cant do it myself as its a American number - but maybe someone should call it and when it gets to the leaving a message part (either on the main line, or the extension for ERIK C) say "security code Alpha"
