I've been meaning to ask about that emoticon. Its meaning is nebulous to me.

It's a duck face. I run in this other community where we use it in place of troll face. :V

I had been wondering this as well. But when I read "duck face," I thought of the exaggerated pout that was so rampant a few years back -- I guess that would be more like
    :@

Glad to see you're making a real duck face, tp. Wink

Alright, back on topic time! It seems (at least to me) that it's pretty clear that Alex is from near Rosswood, where he met Amy and blah blah blah, there's no coincidence about that. But if Tim is also from Rosswood then how did he end up in CollegeTown before all the operator stuff started to happen? He's already hinted that he's the one who brought the operator to Alex, so by coincidence both Tim and Alex move from near Rosswood to CollegeTown at the same time? That seems like a big coincidence to me. Or is it?! Confused

Probably my second favorite show from my childhood.

Mine to, until Gizmo Duck came along and pushed it into my number one slot. The late 80's to early 90's may have truly been the best time to be a kid.

I got the impression that Alex and Amy are both from College Town, or some other place entirely. Alex told Amy that Tim hails from "the area around your school", which sounds like Alex is unfamiliar with the area. Otherwise he would've said "the same area we grew up in" or something along those lines.

In the original post that Troy put on SomethingAwful he said that Alex had been living in the area where they filmed Marble Hornets since he was eight years old. Alex could have lived in Rosswood Town for the first eight years of his life but other than that we know he spent most of his life in College Town.

As for Amy, she could be from anywhere.

It's here. It's an expanded form of the text from Introduction. It mentions Alex quite a bit.

So what are the arguments against putting Entry #70 between #3 and #7 in the timeline?

Arguments for:

-Everyone agrees it's after #4.
-Likely to be after #3, since there is no reason to film the entire journey to the park and even less the phone call with Amy, whom he wants to protect from the entire deal.
-Likely to be before #7, since he goes out of his way to find ol' Oppy, therefore the stalking has not really begun.
