[BLOG] Sightlessblog's Blog A newly blind man vs. Slenderman, that should end well. http://sightlessblog.wordpress.com/
Tagline is "I see what you mean."
Found this in the Slenderman Mythos Off-Topic Thread, & thought it was deserving of its own topic.
Here we follow the story of a person who lost his (I presume) sight at some point, & decided to start a blog about it. Recurring themes include missing children, nightmares about the woods, a mysterious tall stalker who appears & disappears at a moment's notice, & creepy, blurred images that are either a person or nothing at all.
So, almost definitely Slendershenanigans.

Well, aside from the Molly-Bloom headache I now have, the other thing that's bugging me about this writing is the inaccuracy of the portrayal of voicerec software -- even if it is refusing to acknowledge punctuation, it'll still get other words wrong, and that's not showing up here.
But it is an interesting premise, so I'm in.
The sign-off from the first post got me: stick around and I will see you soon period

I keep thinking he's trying to argue with me.
"I'm going to sleep. Period!"
True, now that I think of it, I run into massive headaches trying to use my phone's voice recognition. It is not "4 U," asshole, type the fucking words. No, not "too bee," that doesn't make any goddamn sense.
The only reason I can ever get my messages to work is because (A) I can read them back & (B) I eventually give up & just type that part.

Okay, he handwaved the voicerec issue; suddenly now it punctuates near-perfectly. Later February's posts show some slight verbal deterioration -- meant to reflect sightless' fatigue? Other than that, and the lost time that he felt he needed to telegraph (because the dates were not enough of a clue?), there's not a great deal here besides generalized angst and some vague bogeyman dreams.
There needs to be more substance, and he needs to update.
My inclination is toward 'meh,' which is a shame. He has an interesting concept.

This is a really cool idea. I applaude the author for coming up with it, but I think it needs a little bit more time and editting before it gets to be really good. The concepts are great (the 'whats in front of me' post was great and a good character moment) but the day to day posts are a little vague and dry. On the other hand, I really like the concept of a blind man dealing with Slenderman, and (even though it was kind of annoying) the period-comma-period stuff was an interesting touch.

New post, mothafuckas!
I posted a comment, with the aim of finding out if this is a picture of Slenderman.

Odd, I'm supposed to get notifications of that. That's how I knew there was a new post to begin with.
Well, anyway, I'm actually kind of excited by this chain of events. If the object in the original photo is no longer there, this could be the first confirmed sighting of Slenderman in this series, since he claims that the other one was just from the light being off.
Edit: Damn it, he took a picture of a wall.
Edit 2: This guy is really active tonight. Also, success! Dare to compare .

Woah, that's pretty creepy. I think that I'll start following this.
Also, good catch!

This is pretty good. I started getting those creeped-out feels, and that doesn't happen too often. Definitely gonna keep an eye on this one.

So I edited the link in the OP, as per request. It now leads to the general blog page, instead of Page 6 of the archives.
There also seems to be a new NPC . I haven't been reading her stuff because she's so overly saccharine, & so far I don't see anything important, but I suppose it's worth noting.
Edit: I don't like where this is going.

Alas, poor Fluffy. We hardly knew ye.
This is going to be painful to read.

Well, that went about as well as can be expected. So he thinks it's been stabbed...he's either rationalizing, or that implies an antagonist in addition to Slenderman. Then again, the comment could imply possession.
