It's possible to refresh your IP and vote more or vote through a proxy, I'm sure. You... You guys didn't know that?

You're all lucky I could put forth the effort to hit "Refresh."

Too lazy for that. Programmed a mouse key for cache clear refresh. Very Happy

I did not know that. Could you perhaps explain how to do so?
Though I'm not sure it'll make a difference at this point. They have a huge lead on us now. Don't know where this big surge of support for LBD is coming from, but I'm not sure we stand a chance of catching up anymore.

Interestingly enough, my F5 key goes to my homepage.

To vote through a proxy, just Google "proxy servers." I'm not sure how to change your IP address off-hand, but again, Google. I know it's not hard to do.

I can't even see the poll standings anymore, but it seems like I can vote as much as I want again. Refreshing the page didn't work for me several days ago.

EDIT: Never mind; completly. It must have been a glitch or something because now I can see the standings and can't vote anymore.

EDIT 2: Okay, this thing is messing with me. I can vote again and blah blah blah. I'm just going to go with it if I can.

Something about which Troy is being very gracious.

I'm not sure what he's saying is so impressive.

Bro, he linked to a kickstarter page for LBD that indicates they raised over $400,000. That's a seriously rabid fanbase. Besides, less people in general will be able to stomach MH's horror and jump scares well enough to break through to being interested in the story rather than just losing sleep over the tall man. I think I agree with Troy, pretty awesome they came in second to something with a much wider appeal.

$400,000 on KS is nothing to sneeze at, but in all fairness, it was Hank Green (Vlogbrothers, SciShow) who started the kicking. Hard to imagine how that might fail.

Really, what I was pointing out was that Troy politely declined to whip his own fans into a frenzy.

I mean, I don't know how the fan populations would split numerically between the shows, but my guess is that even if LBD fans greatly outnumber those of MH, many more of the macro-writing/IP spoofing-savvy types are in the MH camp.

(I could be wrong, but this is my guess.)

Edited to add: re-reading that, I had better quickly add that NO ONE I know on these boards would ever, ever, do such an underhanded, despicable thing.
