EDIT: My binary also says II I III, but are we sure that is the message they were trying to deliver? One other result I found through base 64 is this:

which looks a lot like a youtube URL.

I got the message titled "3/3 as well

i don't know why they may have different titles, but we may need to combine all three parts of the binary message, or it could have something to do with the random capital letters.

EDIT: is anyone else getting an error message when trying to look at the latest google docs thing?

Not sure if related I will get cracking on this though, the letters II I III that we decode might be related to the upper cased letters and in what order to put them. Will get back to you if I figure it out.

Edit: Ok so my binary also reads II I III, and with all three messages we have these letters,

E H I S H E N C O S H
Which put into the pattern given to us by the letters gives us,
I S H E H E N C O S H
Any ideas people?

I got three e-mails from Uplink Saga.

The first one has the subject "2/3":

I got message 1/3 as well. Same as the other 1/3 message.

IS HE HENCOSH? The name Hencosh brings up nothing upon searching.

Capital Letter Anagram

If you anagram the capital letters, and use each e-mail in the order 2, 1, 3 (from the roman numerals) as a separate word, you get a message.

I still have no idea what that message means.

I am not sure how to translate this binary into letters, but we should try decoding it with the proper 2/3 in tow. Very Happy

I think we cross-posted. To answer the binary question, break the binary bits into groups of 8. Then look at the binary ASCII codes for each.

01001001 -> 73 (decimal) -> I

00100000 -> 32 (decimal) -> space

The capitals are actually ISH | EH | ENCOSH. A agree that if anagramed, the last word would be a good candidate for CHOSEN.

Look at the difference between the emails "2/3" and "2/3 Addendum".

If you mean this one then yes. However, if you download the document, you can open it IF you know the password.

It appears to be a chat log between Wyn and Ryat (the document name translate to Chat Log 001 using Base64) There is a lot of clean up to do on the document, though. Will try to get a transcript shortly.
