I think you're misunderstanding me. All I said was that Jessica was having short term memory loss and compensating for it, not that she was outright lying. For all we know she's been kicked out in the past and she genuinely thought that's what happened this time (in the same way that Jay filled in the gaps in his memory from Entry #71). I'm just bringing it up as an example of Jessica being unreliable without necessarily being deceitful because it seems like Troseph went to the trouble of spelling it out for us, and they're not going to spell it out again this late in the series. (I think the most interesting bit about Jessica's memory loss is that it's not consistent. Jay tells her documentary story, which she then forgets, and later remembers again, so not all of her "missing" memories are lost forever.)

I think you're overthinking this. If she later admits that she has "no idea" how she got there, it is most likely that she was deliberately lying.

Also, she could have simply forgot Jay's lame documentary excuse. It's likely a pretty small, unimportant fact in her day-to-day routine.

 		I'm curious as to the tapes in that box in the beginning of the video. I presumed they are the tapes that were later burned and found in the hole, but the pile in the video obviously couldn't include the Entry #71 tape. The most logical assumption is that Alex later added that tape to the box, and then burned everything. But could it be possible that this is a new set of tapes altogether? Is it possible that they're still in that closet? It would seem unlikely.
