Why did Alex move?

From what we've seen of this entry, Entry #72, and generally of the series (especially Introduction and entries 1-14) it seems as though Alex moved house and abandoned Marble Hornets the student movie because the operator was interfering with his life. Instead consider this: what if Hoody/Team totheark started to bother Alex after he started disappearing people? If Alex is completely complicit and willing to do what the operator wants then it would take some other intervention to stop him. There's evidence that totheark was keeping tabs on Alex and Jay back in 2006 (Exit). We even see Hoody chase Alex out of his house in Season 2. In Entry #45, Hoody shows up at Alex's house, and in Entry #47 Alex complains to Jay about leading Hoody to his place in Entry #47. By Entry #50 Alex has things packed into boxes as if he's trying to move out. So maybe the same thing happened in 2006- Hoody broke into Alex's place and tormented him until he left.
