TRIBETWELVE: SEASON TWO

 		My theory on the journal
We know that, following the events of this video, Noah returns to the boardwalk. We also know that he somehow gets the diary back.

I have two theories. One is badass on Noah's part... the other... less so.

Theory one is that, upon returning to the Collective's realm, Firebrand or perhaps the Collective themselves return the book to him, perhaps as a "reward", or part of some "lesson".

Theory two is that, upon returning to the Collective's realm, Noah fights the Collective and regains the book.
This is evidenced by both the shot of Noah (Or Firebrand?) bandaging his hand, and brandishing a large rock during DEATHTRAPEXODUS. I hope, personally, that the latter is true as it would be some real development and progression for Noah's character, as well as just being damned cool.

Why is it that Noah is portrayed as so goddamn stupid in this series? He can see the hints and videos where Firebrand literally tells him what to do, or how to save himself and he completely ignores them

To me that is just bad writing and annoying to the viewer


Well he's been losing his sanity for the past couple of years so he hasn't been thinking straight and the I think the reason he's angry with himself is because seeing the journal get taken from him was probably a wake up call for him.

 		Love this one. I've got to say...I almost found the most terrifying bit to be when he (under the book's control) takes the evil repulsive thing to bed and sleeps with it clutched to his chest. I was actually shuddering with revulsion. This was such an effectively creepy piece of work.

I noticed that whenever Noah was at the boardwalk, he was barefoot and helpless. Maybe this is what Milo's shoes were for? Also, there was an EMH business card on his desk Wink.

It seems like Milo's journal was mostly a trap, controlled by the collective (hence the symbol on the cover), to wear down his resolve and sanity, and to push him into going to the boardwalk.

 		That was pretty great! Seemed so out of the blue as well.

He says 'theres still a lot to go through' so hopefully that means another vid fairly soon. Hope so.

What gets me is that he is seeing Firebrand helping him, telling him what to do, he saved him from so much crap but suddenly he doesn't trust him anymore

The only reason why he let the journal be taken is to make the Collective a threat again

I'm sure he gets it back somehow but i take it like the Collective now knows about the contents of the diary

 		He's right not to trust Firebrand. Firebrand is using Noah to forward his own agenda...which is most likely making sure Noah WILL turn into Firebrand at some point. However, Firebrand is probably someone Noah does NOT want to be. We have no evidence Firebrand is a good person (remember, Jeff telling Noah he's not the hero in this? And that he should kill himself?)

Also this isn't the important journal... It's Milo's journal.

Okay pal, can you please stop acting like Noah WILLINGLY gave the journal to the Collective and Slenderman? -_- You're acting like he just happily handed Slenderman the book when he saw him when the exact opposite happened. He suddenly appeared behind Noah, he got startled and dropped the book. Hell, he was even trying to reach for it before he got teleported back to his house! And don't give me any B.S. about how Noah should've held onto it or not got surprised by Slenderman either. I mean, how would YOU react when you're in a nightmarish alternate dimension and a faceless abomination that's been stalking you for five years straight appears literally right behind you? I think anybody's grip would've slipped in that situation.

I get you're pissed that Noah lost the journal in that situation, I am, Noah is too, hell, I bet the entire Tribetwelve fanbase is upset that they were deprived of answers when they were so friggin close, but that doesn't mean you should go off saying shit that clearly contradicts with what happened in the video. That'll just needlessly confuse people. Noah VERY OBVIOUSLY didn't hand the journal over to Slenderman, so stop saying he did.

 		Noah looked like he was sleepwalking when he appeared on the boardwalk and just after 23:30 realised where he was.

 		I mean, it's not like Noah forgot to open the journal or didn't think to. He was going to force it open, with bolt cutters if necessary, but it kept speaking to him in Milo's voice. Noah couldn't bring himself to do it, because he's lost his mind and believes Milo's spirit resides in the book. It was quite traumatizing for him. So I cut him some slack on that front.

Is this the most we've ever seen of The Observer? I can't think of another video where we just straight up saw him standing and walking around for an extended shot before.

As much as I would love to see the latter as well, but it seems to me Noah's trip to the boardwalk isn't going to end well for him. The reason why I say this is because of the day the final shot of this video is at. It's August 28th 2015. The same day the Observer hijacked Noah's Twitter and told us that he was in their realm. Seems to me that Noah isn't gonna come out of that boardwalk unscathed, but I guess we'll just have to wait for the next video and see.

Also, I'm not sure if this is the case for anybody else, but has anybody noticed that all the questions the Observer answered on Noah's Twitter during August 28th are all gone? I'm not sure if it's just a problem for my computer, but all I'm seeing on the Twitter is the Observer announcing that they took Noah, his final post before Noah managed to get back in control, and the pictures he uploaded.

What got me about the Observer is that he wasn't shown in his weird shadow-person version. It was pretty much just Rikki making odd head and neck movements. I'm not sure if we've ever seen him looking human (except for the footage of Rikki sending warnings to Noah with the cards).

Maybe that's a result of the camera's nightvision?

Second, at the time, Noah still didn't know how to open the journal. In canon, he didn't learn how to do that until DEATHTRAPEXODUS, and he opened it for the first time on November 11th. The reason he didn't open it with bolt cutters or anything else is because the journal told him that it hurt. Noah's kicking himself for not doing it anyway, and he feels like he lost his chance to do it. Keep in mind that this video picks up immediately after "Fortunes," according to the dates (December 12th), and ends with Noah getting taken on August 28th (which is the date that the Observer took over the Twitter account). The next Tweet indicates that Noah returned on September 17th, but that only four days passed for him. I'm assuming that he returned with the journal.

So... yeah, the anachronistic order of footage is a bit frustrating, but makes sense.

 		Well at least he know he eventually gets the journal open on november 11th. and not with hedgeclippers or anything that forced it open, if you look at the twitter picture.
