I really don't get the criticism for the flipping off slendy scene? It was something that took balls to do, and they pulled it off really damn well. It didn't even look hokey or contrived, it was well done and I'm so happy they took a risk like that with something so untried in slendervlogs. I really love how TribeTwelve breaks the mold with every video.

Yeah, that scene was funny because of Slenderman's embarrassed reaction, but it was intentionally funny. I don't feel it detracts from the video, given how the rest of it has shown the best effects yet. Plus, it makes Firebrand a total badass.

I always felt that the videos we get from Firebrand and the Observer mostly comes straight from their imagination directly to digital media. Otherwise, how did Firebrand have video (or who was recording) him saving Noah so long ago? I really can't see these "demigods" sitting in front of a computer and searching stock footage for hours to make videos. That's why I feel the scene with Firebrand giving the Administrator the finger was more of a visual metaphor... as in "this is how powerful I am now, and he no longer has any power over me..."

What I find kind of interesting... all the observer symbols all over Firebrand. Does anyone think that maybe, a short while down the road, the observer does take over Noah, then Firebrand/Noah reasserts dominance over him? Otherwise, why the symbols? Why does firebrand refer to himself as "trapped in this awful form"?

Is Firebrand really Noah at all, or just inhabiting his form, like I thought the observer wanted to do with Noah? Maybe what he really wants is to switch from his current form to Noah's body....

I got the impression that 'the awful form' he was referring to is just generally being Firebrand.

Also;
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Having Evan/HABIT in the video made me squee with joy. I wonder if this will be explained in a EMH video...

I don't think the Observer symbol is really his own personal symbol, just an emblem for the entire Collective as hinted by the two eyes overlapping each other which would represent the other collective members.

Also I think Firebrand meant he was trapped in Noah's, well..his burnt body. Must be very painful.

I was thinking about the new video, so I think I got some things.

Firebrand said, that in the mysterious suitcase is a gift of knowledge ... In INTERCEPTION he said, that he will make sure that Milo sends Noah his journal. And that's it. The journal is in the suitcase. Milo had his journal with him in the first submissions. And he was leaving with a suitcase - the journal had to be inside. Mr. Scars have this suitcase now, so Mr. Scars is probably Milo.

In INTERCEPTION was said, that Noah needs to find Mary Asher's safe. If Mary Asher is Cursor, then she was already in her safe! Her lost safe has been found already! Yay! ... Okay, seriously, the box she was in seemed more like a microwave to me, but I think that it has something to do with that Firebrand's words about her safe. Safe and safe. Dammit English.

Introduction video was posted 4th June 2010 too! Submission #1 is posted 6th, but I think we need to wait longer for another video Very Happy

Because it makes Slenderman not scary. Why should I be scared of something that Firebrand casually flips off? That's not to say a character being unafraid of Slenderman will always destroy the horror but a line is drawn somewhere. I'd say having Slenderman get mocked like that and then even seem put-off by it is way over that line.

Hmm...I wonder if that's essentially when Firebrand says "HEYYY I DON'T WORK FOR YOU ANYMORE". Apparently Firebrand being freed is causing major problems for Slendy, and that's why he's like, "Well, damn. Now what?"

This would also mean that it's highly doubtful anyone else could get away with flipping off Slender Man. I mean, unless he's just really sensitive about the issue or something. XD

I know Adam has said alot of times now that EMH and Dark Harvest tie-ins are simply cameos. However, remember the cards in EMH refering to Evan as the Firebrand? Remember how we wrote it off as coincidental? Or Noah going to see the Dark Harvest guys about the member register with M. Asher? With a firebrand video going as Noah is out shopping goes, that has HABIT, can we please reconsidet that these series are actually connected in a big way?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'm pretty sure he said somewhere that the usage of the name "Firebrand" in both series is a coincidence.

Yeah, this is just complaining for the sake of complaining.

You've been held captive by a supernatural entity for who knows how long, you now have some power over him. What would you do?

Given the fact that
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Firebrand is Future Noah
, it's the most in-character thing Firebrand could have done.

I thought it was funny, yet at the same time I really hoped it was something Firebrand edited in and not a real event. But only because I don't like knowing that The Slender Man's emotions can be conveyed with something as human as a sad head tilt.

So, did anybody decipher the video description yet?

And also, in some of The Observer/Firebrand's videos, does it look like Adam plays as the observer in some of them, like COMECLOSER and INTERCEPTION, instead of Kevin?
