Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Just wondering, is this how Firebrand managed to get free? Habit somehow used that to sever the link by "stabbing" Slendy or inserting something into Slendy? Interesting.

If you're referring to me then why thank you, I try Smile

TT and EMH happen to be my favorites recently so it wasn't too hard to summarize my current thought process related to this video.

Yes,I was addressing you.

Nah.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Firebrand pulled a Deus ex Machina to form a time paradox.

According to Adam's OOG Tumblr, part two isn't edited but it will take a lot less time.

As for the video, the comedy was a nice touch. It was so creepy and funny at the same time. I mean...the cats. The cats was just brilliant. And how HABIT drew "The cake is a lie" on the board.

But come to think of it...the hair of that guy either looked like Noah or Jeff.

HABIT clearly doesn't like Slendy, so that's why he's trying to get Noah to help stop him. Plus, didn't HABIT say that he worked with the Nazis at some point? What would he want with them?

That was terrifying, hilarious, and informative at the same time. Kudos to the TT/EMH crew, they are wonderful filmmakers. This was an epic episode and I can not wait till part 2! Very Happy

Good point bringing up the Nazis, I wonder what "work" HABIT did for them. He has confessed to controlling some of the biggest serial killers the world has seen when he took over damsels blog, he possibly could have been a high powered german scientist or maybe even Hitler himself adding to the number of things that he may have at his disposal in the war against Stickinthemud, such as Karls journal.

He was supposedly Josef Mengele, a doctor who did a series of rather brutal "medical experiments" on concentration camp inmates.

That's Habit's MO -- crazy just to be crazy. He seems to be more unpredictable each and every time we see him. He is probably the only piece in the game right now that is truly unpredictable.

JustJim wrote:
The actual substance of what he was saying seemed a bit too much of a deus ex machina out of nowhere.

I also got this vibe. I suppose it all comes down to Habit's motive -- something that we are not likely to learn anytime soon.

He (Habit) probably got a thrill out of it (the contradiction).

I think everyone is failing to see what HABIT is getting out of all this. He gets more control over the game of chess he is playing with "The stick in the mud" AKA Slendy. This is all just an ongoing game between two gods to them and HABIT is giving his pawn a bit of advice so he may advance.

Makes sense. A very valid theory.
I personally ascribe to the theory that Habit is doing all of this, not out of some grand chess competition versus Ol' Mr. Slim, but just as a way of making things more "fun" and chaotic.

HABIT hates Slendy more than anyone else

Now, here I have to disagree with you. Remember, Habit used to work together closely with Der Grossman. And I have yet to see any idea, any suggestion, any whiff of the event that split them up. I have no reason to believe that Habit hates the Tall Man.

Rather, I'm going to stick with the theory I mentioned before: Habit is just being Habit. Chaotic evil, throwing a wrench into plans just for the heck of it. After all, Slendy is a "stick-in-the-mud," according to Habit; what better way to make him more "fun" and "interesting" than to screw up his plans? (In Habit's view, that is.)

-
Now, onto my own analysis:

1) I really loved Habit's little "hurt-you" die. I wonder where he got it, and, more importantly, where I can get one?

2) Anyone else solve the Hangman puzzle? As far as I can tell, the only letter that fits is "F." I should note, however, that I stopped looking after I got to the letter "G."

3) For those who want a new recipe to try out, here is Habit's very own recipe:
Habit's Whiteboard wrote:
1 pound of "beef"
1 pounds of potatoes
0.5 cup of chives
0.25 cup of sour cream
0.25 cup of milk
3 tablespoons of B_rrer

4) I'm having difficulty analyzing the rest of the board -- any thoughts?

5) It seems that what Habit was trying to tell Noah is that the symbol is used to cut off a controller from the controlled. In other words, it can be used to cut off the puppet master (the Administrator) from a puppet (Firebrand, etc.). That is a very important revelation.

6) I really like Habit's cats.

7) Oh, and also, someone on Twitter speculated that the person in the other room was from MLAndersen0.

From now on, I'm calling Noah "Mr. Intruder-man."

(Sorry if my post is a little scatter-brained -- I'm tired, and I got bored halfway through, so I decided to make the post a little more fun to keep myself interested.)

HABIT's description of the symbol representing severance seems like an obvious reference to how he freed Firebrand- though we don't know what that entailed, or if he wanted something in exchange other than the satisfaction of thwarting the big man Stick in the Mud. It sort of feels like he would. Either way, this video has left me very excited for what happens next.

I'm pretty sure this exact meeting is the "assistance" that Firebrand was talking about in Deus Ex Machina. We see Noah stabbing someone in that video too. It's quite possible that he takes HABIT's advice and stabs Slendy, freeing himself, thus freeing Firebrand.

I highly doubt HABIT would go so far as to stab Slendy just to free Firebrand.

Although when you watch DEUS EX MACHINA at the beginning of the video, the symbol appears on Firebrand's hand. Immediately after this, the text appears which says "I am no longer bound to the Administrator". I'm not saying this proves Habit did or did not have anything to do with this but the symbol clearly did.

Unrelated but I found it sort of ironic that after Noah opens the letter from Habit and mentions that he's mocking him by using a Christmas border since he's Jewish, Habit then later tells Noah he worked for the Nazis. Could there be some kind of anti-semitic side to Habit related to all of this.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

So the symbol represents severance. The act of separating or the state of being separated. Still doesn't tell us why it pops up pretty much everywhere. It was even on the ping pong ball.
The symbol can be used as a weapon. So who is Noah supposed to stab? Slenderman? Firebrand? Himself? (I have a feeling he will have to stab himself through time travel and stuff and thats who we saw in HABIT's closet though thats probably just me) Do you guys think he can free Kevin this way?

Also how long do we have to put things in a spoiler to discuss?

"Diner - Assume drunk
Will be alone"

From the EMH wiki on Dr. Corenthal: "In 2005 he was considered a suspect in a melee at a diner where dozens of people were killed."

Perhaps HABIT goes back to 2005 at some point to pay the doc a visit. If he's still working with Firebrand he'd certainly be able to travel through time with his assistance.

Also, someone mentioned my tweets a page or two ago. Feels good man.

Evan with a surprise powerhouse performance!
Seriously, his Habit is arguably the most entertaining character on youtube right now (granted his competition is pewdiepie, so...)

Also, considering the cameos TT manages to snag, Noah is like the Tony Stark of the Slenderman Universe: he's the rich asshole tying everything together.

Awesome.

So, was it in the Deux Ex Machina video in which we see Noah staggering back holding a knife in one hand and a camera in the other? He looks horrified... Wild idea, I wonder if he will stab Milo or Kevin with the symbol in order to release him from Slenderman's control?

Also, that really, really looked like Noah/Firebrand in the bathroom... I wonder if that was the way Habit severed Firebrand from the (what do they call Slenderman in this series again... the Administrator? I can't remember off the top of my head...)
