Firebrand, Cursor, Mr Scars, Swain and Persolus are all described as white chess pieces by the Observer, whilst The Administrator, Observer and Deadhead are all black pieces.
Most of the white pieces appeared in DEUS EX MACHINA.
Could this mean that there is a schism in the collective?
Could the white pieces are the ones who have escaped from The Administrators control?
Just something I thought of earlier.

I'm thinking the combination something simple like the date the video got first uploaded.

cuz when you look at the part of deus ex machina where the introduction video page pops up. the only thing that doesn't get censored when you see the fingerprints, was the upload date. June 4th 2010.

So it could be interpreted in 2 combinations. from 6/4/2010 we get 642-010, and from 06/04/10 we get 060-410.

I'm confident that one of the 2 combinations i thought of are correct.

Ok, here are my notes on the video and the following tweets:

1) Did anyone notice how Noah's hat at 3:10 is the same as Alex's hat from EMH?

2) Firebrand seems to have lived out Noah's live as it would have been if Firebrand hadn't existed, so he's in the special position to know what would help prevent Noah from being assimilated.

3) I think Firebrand is the one that saved Noah from the house fire. I can't remember the details, however, so I could be wrong.

4) Firebrand intends to fight the Collective with the power of the Collective (i.e., his own). But I'm wondering, who's stronger? Or are they both omnipotent?

5) Why is Mr. Scars helping out Noah and Firebrand? What's his motivation? He's still tied to the Administrator, after all. (This transitions into #7.)

6) What state is Firebrand in? We know that the Observe lives in Kevin... What vessel is Firebrand in?

7) I think that the Administrator is playing Firebrand and Noah. I believe that he's actually in control of the situation, probably expected Firebrand's betrayal -- there are too many loose strings otherwise. For example, why would Mr. Scars be helping, since he's tied to the Administrator? Why don't the Collective just attack now, while everyone is still recovering? I think that the Administrator saw this betrayal as inevitable and is planning to use it as another way to get the journal.
