I wish I could go somewhere to research this. I doubt even if I found the bridge there would be any clues... I missed all the meetup things EMH did, I keep hoping for something else since I live in Jersey. About all I can offer at the moment is that Piscataway is a real town, and that it's a little unusual to encounter a 7-11, since there's a couple of other convenience stores that are more prevalent. Not much help as far as that goes.

Guys, I just realized we've been misinterpreting what HABIT said about the Severance symbol.

See, there's been some reasonable speculation that ultimately Noah's going to put the symbol on a knife and stab Firebrand with it, setting him free from Slendy/the Collective, and enabling him to save Noah during the Live Stream Incident, etc. Or, stab Kevin and free him from the Observer.

But that's not how it works. What HABIT says is that "The controller looses control of the wielder" (emphasis mine). Not the one they control; the one who uses the symbol-engraved knife. I not only just watched the video again, I actually went to the wiki and read the transcript. I think that's a very important way of phrasing; one that assumes the person getting stabbed had any control over the stabber to begin with. A very specific set of circumstances.

Looking back at season one, we see (or are told about) multiple instances of Noah being controlled. But it wasn't the Administrator doing it (not directly, anyway); it was the Collective. More specifically, the Observer.

So, I still believe we're going to see Noah at least try to stab his friend, but not to save Kevin from the Observer. He'll do it to save himself from the Observer. Because it's hard to fight someone that can take over your mind any time he wants.

Of course, if that works, it leaves the question of how Noah ends up a part of the Collective as Firebrand. I'm calling it: the series will end with Noah joining willingly, in order to protect someone else from the same fate.
