I saw the pilot at Comic Con last night. The scene that plays at donotwatchthis.com is straight from the pilot. The entire show is pretty much like an ARG, so I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't do something elaborate online.

Way too spooky for me, but I'll keep an eye on this thread to see how it unfolds for you all!

There's an email address -- jeffseftonSPLATgmail.com -- for the protagonist displayed at the end of the pilot. If it's anything, it's not automatic or immediate, as it did nothing when I emailed it.

I was looking for CULT not THE CULT.

Everything still seems to be dead even though the show has now aired.

Comicon was a long time ago when it comes to our ARG links.

I hope the websites/links become active soon and are not dropped by the network.

A friend mentioned this show to me, but as a non-ARGer, he simply described it as an Inception-like show where the show is about the show, and the actors are acting the actors, cast and crew are themselves on and off the show, etc... You watch "Cult" as it airs on the show, and it has the CW link in the corner of that feed... I don't think it's intended to be about "ARGers". But the plot could potentially be pretty ARGish. Sounds like there is some good opportunity tho.

huh... just checked out the previous thread. All the sites listed there seem inactive, or gone. cultfansunite.com has a banner image only, and donotwatchthis.com has what seems to be a non-official message about avoiding the TV show. A whois shows the DNS servers are set to warnerbros' servers. Not sure what's going on with anything beyond the TV show; nothing really stands out (yet?)
