Returning at the thread pont: Entry 72.

I really think that the only reason they gave us the name of Sarah crossed out is because they are just tying loose ends in this season such as the "static hole". I mean, we were still theorising about past events and they are just stating things in front of the camera as a way to confirm our suspicions and I think the crossed name of Sarah was their way to say to us:
"Yes, Sarah once existed, but not anymore".
I guess it is "pretty obvious" because we have not heard anything related to Sarah since season one (and even then she was not important to the plot), we have not even seen her to be "gone" and the only thing we have been told (and in the last season) is her name crossed.
There were people saying that like we have not seen her disappaerance she must be somewhere ok (or even been Hoody/TTA which I find ridiculous), but the crossed name is a confirmation that she is just gone forever .

Did we also not see Tim's name crossed out? He is very much alive, Praise Tim. The crossing-out may indicate that Alex attempted to kill the individual listed. He has had varying degrees of success with that...

Yeah, we can't just single out one name because everyone wants a relevant female in this series.

There were quite a few other names crossed out, we don't know the status of any of them but Tim, and he's still alive. If any conclusion should be jumped to it's that she's still alive.

Though whether dead or alive, neither means she's relevant to the story. She may not be dead, but she is "dead".

Our curse is that we always over think the smallest of details.

I would laugh so much if the series just played it straight at the end with no plot twists or anything.

Alex is the bad guy, Jessica went on a vacation, TTA is just misunderstood and all the Operator wants is a hug.

On a serious note, I've heard no mention of Jessica for ages I might be a bit out of step but has there been any developments with her plot line or has she been dropped completely?

This is my new favourite entry. The emotional impact, the suspense, the horror, it's all some of the best in the series. I do think this will lead to Tim needing to take more control as Jay loses it. I actually thought Jay had gone all mid-Entry #65 on us after TO attacked the first time watching, though on repeated viewings I noticed he did still have the sense to ask about the flashlights and wanted the camera back. Still, I don't think his remaining sanity's going to last. It's also probably too late to go see a doctor, he'd probably find Alex or TO in the doctor's office instead.

On the subject of the pages they found, I don't think Seth's name was there. This makes me wonder if Brian's page is just a red herring, unless both Brian and Seth are TTA members. The "Stay inside" page also seems like a nod to "Slender: The Arrival", it seems much more like something Kate would write than Alex would.

People have proposed Tim was striking a deal with TO. It definitely wasn't offering Jay for sacrifice, as then Tim would no longer be a sympathetic character. Who else does that leave to offer to TO? I think he might have been agreeing to help catch Hoody... which will lead to quite the mindscrew when he sees who's behind the mask of the person he just sold out (whoever it is, I think we can agree Jay and/or Tim knew them).

Finally, here's something I don't think anyone else has noticed. When Jay and Tim are running from TO, the shed they go past briefly has some "3D style" distortion, similar to Masky's distortion in Entry #67. Maybe Hoody was hiding inside it or nearby?
