 		Hey, just a thought, not sure if anyone's addressed this but...

Okay, so we all see Jay is getting worse and worse mentally to the point Tim is suggesting he's losing it and should see a doctor like he did. Prior to the last video, a series of numbers was uploaded to Twitter. Has made no mention if this since then. Also... and this bothers me even more... the post prior to the uploading of Video #72 is missing capitalization at the start of it and proper punctuation at the end... While this may seem minor, it's really out of character for Jay....

I dunno... maybe I'm over-thinking this...

 		I think the lack of grammar is due to his exhaustion.

Also, Jay's been hacked about five times now. He's gotta be pretty used to it to not say anything.

I'm pretty sure Alex is alive. Troy wouldn't be so stupid as to killing a main character without telling us.

We just saw Alex in Entry 68 (correct me if I'm wrong) so the chances of him being dead are slim to none.

 		Yeah he was in Entry #68 but we don't know what happened at the end of it with him and Hoody in the tunnel.

We (as in the people reading and discussing on this forum) are not characters nor necessarily the intended audience within the narrative. The videos are uploaded to YouTube to be viewed by some ephemeral collective of people.  		Ok, not to shift gears too much, and I haven't looked through about 12 pages of this thread so I don't know if this was already brought up!

But! Towards the end of the entry, when Jay and Tim are stumbling back to the car, Jay says, "Did you get the flashlight?" and Tim responds, "Yeah. Yeah, I got it."

At least Jay was coherent enough to be sure the flashlight wasn't forgotten again. Wink

If they were gonna kill Alex, it woulda been before his birthday, and it would have been shown to us. No way would they kill one of the main characters off screen.

Okay, so someone said something similar to what I'm about to say, but here it is anyway. The distortion isn't TO's fault, it's Jay's. Like when someone is worried that TO might show up, it distorts. Note how there's a lot of static when Jay freaks out in this entry, but it goes away and there's no distortion when Jay points the camera RIGHT AT TO.
The only reason TO can affect anyone at all is if they're scared, so Tim was able to stand against him by pushing his fear into the back of his mind.

Do we see distortion in the earlier videos where people are not aware of the presence of TO?
I don't remember that far back.

Edit: I just checked out a few, and in Entry #12 they seem to be meeting TO for the first time. If this is true they couldn't possibly fear him, right?

But you may be right about him not directly causing distortion. When the camera is pointing directly at him in Entry #7 I believe there isn't any distortion? I know there is some beforehand which may be due to teleporting?

It was implied in Decay, where it said "Today is your last birthday". It was posted on April 4th last year, so that means he was implying that Alex would not live up to April 4th of this year

Jay's not on psychoactive meds?

Tim's extremely accustomed to being told he's crazy and the things he's seeing aren't real, so even if he'd gotten the ability, he'd probably have tried really hard to shut it out. Also, pills. We know they stop him becoming Masky, but we have no idea what other effect they might have, incidental to that, since they're clearly suppressing something.


Tim did stat The Operator had possibly been following him since chilshood. Myabe his already at a later stage of the psychosis. Plus he took his pills before confronting The Operator (trying to help Jay). Maybe the disable The Operators ability to torment his victims when there near.
